Today we talk to Patrik Sjögren, the co-founder of GoS watches, a swedish watch company which creates uniquely designed wristwatches made from various materials. GoS watches are mostly known for the use of damascus, known for being one of the first wrist watches actually to use the unique material. Today we talk about the beginning of the brands journey, the GoS Sarek Frost models as well as the Northern Lights models with guilloche dials made by Jochen Benzinger.

Which model would you wear?
Frost. But tough love the ice frost but also the dark blue - The Damascus case i love too hmmmmaybe Damascus with ice blue ?
Dark Blue Frost 👍
None of the above ! F***in UGLY !
Ice blue with Damascus please!
Ice blue frost and fuchsia northern lights.
GoS is on my shortlist of all-time favorite makers. Thanks for the video Marko!
Impeccable quality. The pink one is my favorite. The luminous ice chunks on the frost were beautiful as well as the engraving on the outer case
Met Patrick at the DWW! He’s a great person! Wish him all the luck!
Wow!!! Thank you Patrik for your dedication! Thank you Marko for the fantastic interview and visuals as usual!
The amount of care and attention to even the tiniest details on this is just amazing… the crown, the recessed hour markers, even down to the luminova.. wow 😮😮 and the inspiration behind the pieces… such richness, and the light blue one is beautiful
God i love this channel you show watches and whats brands that ARE INCREDIBLE!Not just keep on riding the coat tails of rolex and its name or the give or take 10 other popular mainstream watches that everyone and anyone keeps talking on how these are these best watches ever made and that they are everyones grail because they are whats popular. We dont actually have any tastes or opinions of our own. That is way marco and this channel are the greatest
His watches are just amazing. Incredible workmanship and also very beautiful.
Great interview. So much passion for design and craftmanship. Each detail is exquisite. Especially love the hands, crown and case edge. Creative use of sapphire and crystal is impressive.
This is amazing, but I've just seen the GoS Winter Nights Gold, beautiful!
Beautiful watches and very cool dial and case designs. Thanks Marko 👍🏽👍🏽
Najveca njuska medju jutjuberima! Svaka cast na svemu sto radis.
Beautiful pieces!
The Norrsken are the most beautiful dials I have ever seen. Simply stunning.
Im a dial guy and these give me the fizz
I have met Patrick and he is an absolutely charming man. Really committed to his product which is true artisan watchmaking. I hope to purchase a GOS before too long.
Love these watches well Done 👍
Oh it's these!... that Demascus dial is beautiful.... can't complain about all the others either.😮😊
wow gos nice slick watches
realy like when marko show us the brands that are low on the radar instead of the giants patek,ap,rolex etc etc small brands i see puts soo much work and effort to their watch, great marko you do this for us❤
Will send this video to everyone that asks why luxury watches are so expensive ❤
The Sarek Ladies in Sunset is another beautiful piece id absolutely wear
You never disappoint Marko!
Hubble guy. Beautiful pieces - darker blue frost is ❤
great interview, very interesting guest
Incredible watches
Well done Patrik you got what it takes, as a watch enthusiast congratulation.
Leather dial lol Marko you’re hilarious! Love these pieces!
I think I’ll get one ,very different ❤️🏴👍
All of then are beautiful.💯👍
I'm a glass blower and I've wanted to make dials, maybe I should move to Sweden haha
Очень красиво. В часах есть всё сложно, дорого и дизайн. Молодцы!
Beautiful watches...definitely not the first Damascus steel though. That would go to Ondrej Berkus.
I happen to have watch #15 by him and it is exceptional.
I love Ondrej's creative work but I don't think he would agree with you on being the first. I made the first GoS Damascus steel watches early 2008 and the first Damascus steel movement modification in 2010.
I still love my LV reverse monogram nkuwan clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.
Humility is nice, also.
They should make a Damascus bracelet for that Damascus watch.
Can we have a watch made of full solid stones like marble, granite etc? I think that's possible
AWESOME
One word wow
gorgeous
I’d wear the watch which represents Odin, preferably in the green😉😂
yoo first comment!
sickkkk dial on the first one, the superluminova under the sapphire is so cool!
What is the point of luminescence if the hands aren't lumed?
I use luminescence primarily for ambience and not for legibility.
Vow, good stuff
Frosts would look great in 36mm I think.
I feel that I can easily justify the cost for brand with the missing “o”.
These give me the fizz
I feel like these guys and Arcanaut need to collab.
Phil Collin can sing too
I’ve got a Huawei GT3. 😊
It's a great watch.
But tge "Frost" looks more like the sesame on my bagle.
Does it remind you of MING?
I don't see damascus as being very suited for the watch market. It's beautiful, but it doesn't belong there imho.
improve or remove those 2 sophmoric graphic elements ( logo & viking symbol) and these pieces immediately become more handsome
👍🏾 Great interview and presentation!! This just reminds me why I became a watch aficionado/connesiour many, many years ago: I just love the vision, creativity, ingenuity, and craftmanship of inspired watchmaking. 🫡 Salute to all our active service members and veterans on this tremendous Memorial Day weekend of honor and remembrance! 🇺🇲
Amazing work and quality but design is not for me. Wish the brand the best though.
Love them 😂 arggh
Beautiful watches but he needs a clean room those watches are full of microscopic dust particles.
😂.. Where?....put time links because I'm having troubles spotting 'em....?😮😊
@@mrmagoo.3678 I’m not going back thru the whole vid to timestamp dust for u hahaha … I noticed dust 3 times and wasn’t really looking for it … it’s there .
I’m not knocking the guys work at all it’s extremely difficult to avoid dust particles unless you have an industrial clean room setup . The watches are beautiful and are very unique.
@@glass1258 your avatar picture is cool a.f btw.
@@mrmagoo.3678 thanks 🙏 its sort of a Aztec and day of the dead sorta vibe.
Feel free to copy it and use it wherever u wish .
@@glass1258 Thanks dude... appreciated.. smart design

Is it just me or do these look cheap? The designs remind me of infomercial watches you used to see on TV.... android, invicta, etc.
Kitsch.
Well i see a chinese crap but not the "impossible"
Did you even watch the video or u just having a bad day? 😅
too expensive for a small trinket, I would rather buy a car.
I understand that some people can appreciate those watches.
I wonder how many people can appreciate absolutely ridiculous prices ?
Those prices or more than fair
