I love the hickory smoke with the black ink bleed through. It looks as though it’s been stored in a damp place and picked up some mildew. Thanks for the inspiration!

Your flippy flappy tag is fantastic Bel! And it's such a good ides, I think I might do one for one of the days. I'm having so much fun with it that I don't care that I'm behind, I'm just enjoying my inspired ideas and playing with all of the stuff! 💜💜💜

I love the flippy flappy grungy tag you created! When you mentioned the "Fancy Pen" thing, I remembered that a few of us at College had fancy pens, and mine was green, with a fine tipped nib. I still have that pen, and like to use it when I'm writing letters to my friends. You can still get ink cartridges for those ink pens, too! I had fun watching this video! TFS! ~Janet in Canada

Well and truly creepy and I also loved the bookcase image. I was interested to see you also have an issue with the glue drying in the nozzle - absolute hell here in in an Aussie summer!! Yes, I remember fountain pens and all the leaks and smudges - we had to keep blotting paper at the side of paper we were writing on. Also there was a period before the cartridges were popular and we had to draw ink in from a bottle and zi think the pens had some sort of lever on the side of the pen to do this. Such a relief when cartridges were more available and popular. Hurray for biros!!
LOL yes hurray for biros. Its nothing even that warm here yet so I am not sure why my glue is being affected, could just be the constant changing temperatures we are having here at the moment. Thank you for watching and for taking the time to comment 🦇
Love it Bel. I especially loved your chatter today. Yes fountain pens were a problem in the day. Fortunately they are a little more manageable these days. The cartridge does not spill when you change them. Still not completely mess free though! At least not for me.
Thank you, I am glad I am not the only one who remembers those days with the messy fountain pens. I can get messy just looking at my craft table I hate to think how messy I would get even if I used the newer pens LOL. I have a couple of old ones that where my dads which are lovely to look at but that's all I really do with them 🦇
I’m a gen xer & I was fascinated by my granny’s fountain pens & my mom’s typewriter when I was a kid so I remember how both could get messy! I REALLY wish I had asked for them! But I got somewhat good at writing in Spencerian script. Fountain pens like the ones she had are hard to find nowadays & if you can, they are expensive.
Bel, I have a fountain pen and mechanical pencil set that was the first gift my dad gave my mom when they were dating. They married in 1947 so that set is at least that old. I would only look at it today. Talk about messy…you have to pump a little lever on the side of the pen to fill it from a bottle!

I think you are right, I didn't notice that at first. Tracie added so many ghostly images that I am still finding things I didn't notice at first, it's a really detailed and spooky kit 😊
