Cool vintage altered book, Bel! I love the snails and the mushrooms that you made, and the cute little creatures hiding in the forest! Wonderful make! Those blonde curls, they're just killin me! He looks like a little an adorable little angel. Isn't it funny how you start looking for something and don't even know what you want but somehow you immediately know what you DON'T want and once you find that ONE piece, you know. It's why layering is such a struggle for me, I think! Well, that and I have far too much stuff to choose from that I have to shuffle through. I really need to just get out a small bit of a few dozen pieces at a time and limit myself or something. Teach me the secret of effortless, perfect layering Bel! haha🤣

This journal is coming together so nicely. And I can just imagine she’s going to be ecstatic when she gets this. I started pulling all my papers together to begin making my December daily. I was supposed to start at the beginning of the month, but hoping to complete before the end of the month. This also gives me the opportunity to use many of my very old Christmas stickers and papers because I have sooooo many!

Oooh, this is so pretty Bel! I'm longing for autumn - autumn and winter are my favorites. There's something so magical when the air is crisp and cold, and you're all warm and snuggly indoors. Hoodies and sweaters (jumpers for you) and socks, baking and soups and stews on the stove. Snuggled under a blanket with an old movie on the TV and a book in my hand. I always seem to be more crafty in fall/winter too. I can already feel my spark starting to light up!

What a sweet page! I love using the old photos that I have inherited in my projects. I just finished a book for all the Christmas photos that have been sitting in a drawer and not being enjoyed. I used the originals but used non permanent adhesive and tucked them behind ephemera to hold them in place. It just so wonderful to see the huge smiles of loved ones that are no longer with us.

Ah Bel! Scan your Gelli backgrounds! That one is too gorgeous to not have on hand to use again somewhere else. I ADORE this one. She looks like an Edna to me, and she's having a grand time at a suffragette organization meeting. Those colors behind her give me some ideas... this is brilliant.

Oh Bel! This is absolutely stunning! I actually audibly gasped when you showed it! Even though I saw a sneak peak on insta, I hadn’t looked properly so this was an absolute wow factor! The detail and the colours and everything, is all just… wow. That’s twice in a week you’ve made me cry 😂 and I’ve normally got a heart of stone 😂😂

Lovely page!! Sometimes I use some of my tim holtz distress ink sprays for watercolor-esque pieces. I'll spray some on a non porous surface like a recycled yogurt lid and use a watercolor brush to paint with the ink. Allows me to add some "messy" aspects to pieces since I'm a control freak and have a tendency to make things too neat and tidy LOL
