I watched another video that talked about the high pressure line sometimes having a problem with a plastic liner in the line failing and blocking the line. Check with Jeep or look for some vid's on that. Good luck.

    Hello
I wanted to ask you how it went with the operation of the hydraulic steering pump that you installed that you recommended in this video since I am interested in buying the same pump
    Thank you

The pump is perfect, however watch the videos in this TJ playlist as the reservoir replacement created an issue.

I came across this video, and your others, about that power steering pump and reservoir. Then I looked at the reviews about that reservoir you used and they stated there were no baffles inside it to stop the bubbles. In your previous video when you put the reservoir on, you said there were bubbles in the fluid and it turned pink. Do you think the large amount of bubbles ruined the pump by causing it to cavitate? Maybe the reservoir you are using is not the right one due to the internals on it? What are your thoughts? Has the overflow happened again with that reservoir and your new pump?

Yes and yes. Watch along in this series I wound up with a Honda reservoir and it worked great.

What size of bolt did you use to press the pulley back on?

I think it was a 3/8, it's been a while, just found one in my bolt pile

😔😔 I just sold my 97 I miss that little engine sound. But I just bought a 99 6 cylinder

The 6cyl are so much more comfortable to drive.
