    Solid review. Thanks! It is still an entry level consumer FPV drone, but a very good one for that target. The crazy loudness of Avata 1 was putting me off, so huge improvement in that regard with the Avata 2 was really enough to get the new drone.

      @CineMirageSD  Před 20 dny

      Thanks ! It definitely feels like it's made for the general consumer market rather than just for the more advanced users.
      It is a nice upgrade but I personally was hoping for something stronger, something closer in power to DJI FPV, with easy of use and build like Avata 1 😄

    btw, there’s a bright side of having C1 mark - You can fly in A1 framework, basically - You can use Avata 2 in urban environment. First Avata is A3 only (150m distance), and with perspective to have additional DRI (Remote ID) device on drone.

    • @CineMirageSD
      @CineMirageSD  Před 20 dny

      That's definitely the good side of having the C1 !
      I just wish they made Avata 2 like a big upgrade from Avata 1 (and they could have made a new style of a drone and market it as a C1 FPV drone 🤔) 😄

    Nice review, im curious if there is an automatic adjustment for the camera angle

    • @CineMirageSD
      @CineMirageSD  Před 25 dny +1

      Hey ! you can manually change the angle during the flight. But in normal and sports mode it does it automatically for You.

      Unfortunately I don't have it with me anymore (I only had it for testing)
      Also I use the default settings on my DJI controller, and I've just gotten used to them.

    GPS in the band it not it’s just a battery in the uk you don’t need a phone at all to fly it ??

    • @CineMirageSD
      @CineMirageSD  Před 2 dny

      Yes, its battery and GPS in that head band 😄
      So You don't need to connect Your smartphone in the regions that would normally require it 😄

    If you have the Avata 1 not worth upgrading but if you don’t have any then the avata 2 is a great learning dron to have

    There is a big misinformation in your video: GPS in Goggles3 only for US market? That‘s not true, it’s the same for CE market. All restrictions (power and frequencies) are software based, depending on GPS location.

    • @CineMirageSD
      @CineMirageSD  Před 25 dny

      Can You show me the timestamp where I said that GPS is only for US market ?
      I said that :
      1. US market = You don't have to use Your phone for remote ID because the GPS inside the goggles does it for You.
      2. For European market = because it knows it's in Europe, it limits Your speed and frequencies to the EU limit, so You have don't have he ability to fly it in full speed that it could possibly fly at.

    • @berniepb3075
      @berniepb3075 Před 24 dny

      I understand it better now with your explanation.
      But still confusing is your inserted text ‚US - Built in GPS‘ at 1:47 together with comment ‚you don’t need to connect your phone everytime to goggles‘.
      Also EU has the same built in GPS and only during initial registration process a phone connection is needed. Afterwards you can fly without a phone connection.

    • @midnightstar5618
      @midnightstar5618 Před 15 dny +1

      I agree. I live in England and have the googles 3 and full speed. Thank god we left the leaches in the EU 😂

    • @berniepb3075
      @berniepb3075 Před 15 dny

      @@midnightstar5618 A lot of videos are outdated now since latest firmware update. HAM file for Avata2 enables all the FCC magic now.

    😂😂😂

    • @CineMirageSD

      Yup, this doesn't have spare parts available anywhere 😅

  • @stiigern
    @stiigern Před 25 dny +1

    I just uploaded the Ham file (FCC) hack to the Goggles SD card, and my Avata 2 now does around 100kph. I cant switch channels manually, but the performance is FCC level.

    • @berniepb3075
      @berniepb3075 Před 25 dny +1

      Please don‘t mix up CE and FCC. CE+HAM file doesn't enable FCC.

    • @CineMirageSD
      @CineMirageSD  Před 20 dny

      The ham file might extend the range (FCC) but from multiple users already we've seen that it doesn't increase the speed.
      (Unless something has changed recently which I'm not aware of)

    • @berniepb3075
      @berniepb3075 Před 20 dny

      @@CineMirageSD You are wrong. Speed (for remote 3 manual mode) and range increases, but according to some tester, range improvement is not dramatically.

    • @stiigern
      @stiigern Před 20 dny

      @@CineMirageSD It did for me. I live in Norway wich is in the EU. I tried flying it before and after uploading the Ham file. The speed and power increased alot.
      There was no way to tell other than fealing, hearing and seeing the power/speed difference. But i do 100kph with the wind wich is not possible without the Ham file.
