    I LOVE this brand, especially their vitamin C and retinol serums. They work amazingly well for my oily skin and do not cause any breakouts which is my main problem with serums from other brands. And their price is great too.

    I've seen this brand a lot at Burlington and Ross stores, I LOVE their Tea Tree Oil especially for dry/cracked feet at night worn with some fuzzy socks!! My other fave is their Rose Hip Oil mostly for under my eyes each cost $6 at the stores mentioned. I will definitely try looking for the serums in stores and if I don't find them I will go online and purchase them with the code you've provided!😊

    Awesome video! Although I should mention: Glycolic Acid sensitizes your skin to the sun nomatter if you use it during the day or at night! Either way your skin IS still more sensitive to the sun when using at night. So, as long as your strict with the use of spf you can use it in the morning before spf. There are studies that show that even when you stop using Glycolic Acid your skin is still weaker to the sun up until 1 week later!

    • @slashedbeauty
      @slashedbeauty  Před 3 lety +1

      I've always heard prevention is always easier than repair when it comes to anti-aging benefits. I would just introduce it slowly into your routine like I mentioned, always apply to dry clean skin and space out the nights you use it at first just in case your skin is sensitive. If you're worried, consult with a dermatologist if it's right for you!

    Percentage of retinol and vitamin c please?

    • @slashedbeauty
      @slashedbeauty  Před 2 měsíci

      According to their FAQ, 1.3% retinol and in the vitamin c 0.5% Aminopropyl Ascorbyl Phosphate (AAP). “AAP is a special, potent form of Vitamin C that is stronger than Ascorbic Acid. Most Vitamin C Serums need to use 15-20% of Ascorbic Acid to match 0.5% efficacy of AAP.“ the info is here: advancedclinicals.com/pages/faq#:~:text=What%20is%20the%20percentage%20of,efficacy%20for%20more%20consistent%20results.

    • @slashedbeauty
      @slashedbeauty  Před 2 lety +2

      Typically 6-12 months when stored under dark, cool conditions. The Vitamin C may become less effective sooner because Vitamin C starts degrading as soon as it hits air, so with the dropper packaging you're constantly exposing it. Once it turns a darker yellow that's when you know it's going to be less effective.

      Which "this"? I mention three serums here but if I were to guess, you might be talking about glycolic acid? If you have super sensitive skin it may cause irritation especially as your skin gets used to it. If it's bad I would stop using it but if it's not just don't use it as often or you could build up your tolerance...

    • @wrldjnk

    • @slashedbeauty
      @slashedbeauty  Před 2 lety

      @@wrldjnk It may be your skin feeling particularly sensitive on certain days. Be sure not to use it on any active skin conditions, and I would use it more sparingly -- only once a week to start-- and work up if you feel like your skin is building a tolerance to it. When you have the reactions are you mixing with other products that have active ingredients?
