Great pickups Pauly. That King Kong metal box is a thing of beauty 😎
I wish other charity shops did this around the country. 🤞
It may catch on
What a great find that King Kong set was.
Looks like you found some hidden gems at that sale. I like the King Kong box set and I think I saw a Venom Mug that looked cool
You should display that king Kong box set and the planet of the apes boxset you got the other week with some monkey action figures
I have that King Kong release but I live in the States. I've had it for some time and I kept it even after upgrading King Kong to Blu-ray.
It’s a very nice edition
Nice haul there Paul. The King Kong tin set is lovely 👍👍
Looks like lots of goodies were to be had. You got some great pickups. You can't beat the old King Kong. I love Sunshine too!
Gary Moore is an incredible guitarist - one of my favs. Over the hills and far away was one of my favourite songs growing up. You hear a lot of his influence in Dare stuff (especially 'We don't need a reason').
Yes I love Gary Moores rock stuff as much as the blues stuff he did. Wild Frontier and Empty Rooms are amazing too. Absolutely love DARE have all their albums and saw them live back when Out of the Silence album came out, that’s one of the best AOR albums ever. People still laugh when I tell them Professor Brian Cox was the keyboard player lol
The King Kong tin was a big score! If anything, it will make a great display for the movie room. I still collect dvds, even some vhs, and would've loved being there. We have something like that occasionally here in Dallas. I always get there as early as possible to avoid the madhouse.
They used to release some amazing DVD packaging back in the day. I remember my Alien, Predator and I Robot head collections sadly I no longer have these.
@@BigPauly Regret comes with collecting for sure. I had the 3 vhs tape Ed Wood set that came in an angora sweater box and sold it. My wife still hasn't forgiven me for it.
A great video lucky to grab those pickups and you definitely want to go to some more in Kent when they are doing them. Hope you pick up some more great bargains next time. Lovely King Kong limited edition on dvd there too.
Some of the old dvd boxsets,,,/ packeding are really good pauly,,,
Yeah when you get the chapter menu,,,
And the case unfolds,,,
Wish more blurays was like that 👌
Great video paul really enjoyed it cheers and nice finds😅😅😅😅
That's really cool Pauly I didn't know you could play guitar. You should do a video of your guitar skills. Have you heard Gary moore play Hendrix? I personally think he's version of foxy lady live is better than Hendrix's Brilliant guitarist
I haven’t played for more than 10 years so I’m probably a bit rusty now, plus I no longer own a guitar. Gary Moore was a guitar god, especially when it came to his blues material
Omg what a fantastic sale Paul. If they do another one, please let me know and I will meet you. Wow great prices too.
Great pick ups there and such a shame about the guitar. Thank you so much for picking up Big Foot for me my friend.
Just looked King Kong is going for £34.99 on EBay 😃👍
Will certainly let you know when I hear of another sale mate 👍
Great video and great collection of films you got there
I'm gonna have to mention this even to charity shops in my neck of the woods. See if I can get them to do one. I would have had a field day 🤣
It was definitely a great idea, not just for movies but games and collectibles too
I would've loved to be at that sale. So many great bargains by the looks of it. Those resellers are pretty greedy and obnoxious though. They're also a bunch of amateurs. Anyone who knows their DVD's and Blu-Rays should have a good idea what's valuable without having to scan every bloody one. 🤣
That’s true, if you know something is OOP or worth a lot you’d already be familiar with what it is. If I’d had a bit more time I probably would’ve scanned a few more items, but it got a bit manic in there
The king kong makes it all worth it.....❤❤❤❤
You should have got that van helsing 4k pauly, cex are charging £28 for it and are giving £18 voucher
Pauly love the video. I'm shocked that the DVD tables had zero interest. Any chance of you doing a session on guitar soon?
Unfortunately I no longer own a guitar
Good finds 👍
Great Video Paul
Very good video today 😊
Paul, Getting a Gibson Les Paul Classic & a Marshall is on my wish list. I have the Gary Moore vid on DVD…. am planning to upgrade to the box set which has the blu-ray & 4 CD set which has full sets he played at Montreaux. I also have to catch up on my Monty Python stuff.
I actually do have a few Gary Moore VHS tapes too. If you wanna see what I have, and my extensive metal CD collection check out my Storeroom Series of Videos
20:30 wow that’s beautiful nice find
Rob zombie halloween 2 is longer in print and was selling for insane prices a few years ago via vision released it with the first one in a box set which is a better set than the crap walmart release in the us such a great find
Omg would have had a field day 😮
Pauly, you may have to import Halloween 2007 on Blu-ray from Germany, cos we only had the dvd over here in the U.K. courtesy of paramount.
I might be receiving a U.S. edition soon
@@BigPauly the matter of good news there could be two versions of the 2007 Halloween with unrated cut and theatrical cut on the US Blu-ray and Australia released it recently with a double pack with the second movie from 2009 which has all versions of the film. They’ve did this with Halloween 2 & 3 in Oz clearly with H2 (1981) having the TV version as a exclusively first on the Blu-ray format.
I've got a smart King Kong set that came around the time of Peter Jackson release. Although packaging not as dazzling as your metal tin it does have a colorised copy of the old original. Very nice although purists hate colorising.
Why did not get the 4k films
CEX are selling Van Helsing 4k for £28😮
Already have most of them, I scanned a few 4k’s and CEX only showed about 10p each for them so didn’t bother with any others
Have you been to Tunbridge Wells yet Paul?
Not yet
silent hill 2 is rubbish mate. first one is brilliant
Oh well, it was only £1 so not too bad
@@BigPauly haha fair enuff
Log your videos hope you pic same thing up
Hi Paul, where was this event advertised? Hopefully this will happen down Brighton way one day👍😃👍
I stumbled on it on Facebook so maybe have a search on Instagram something might pop up
@@BigPauly cheers mate👍
