I worked at panera for a year, and the soups aren’t made at the store they’re shipped to the store frozen and they get heated up, so the two soups really were identical

Nah it's likely that the store soup has more preservatives. Generally in a restaurant situation like that the soup is prepared at a separate facility to assure consistency, but less chemicals are added because it's going to be sold sooner. Same goes for most of these foods. Def TGIF.
Also, depending on the different heating proccesses, they could change flavors

I work at Panera and our soup comes in frozen so it would make sense they taste the same. XD
Thank you! Just what I thought. You guys aren't chefs making soups back there. All chains have factory commissaries where the items are mass produced to company specifications and then shipped to the outlets. Otherwise it would taste different at every one.

I used to work at Tim Horton's, and literally everything in the store was frozen. Even the stuff you think might not be frozen are still frozen.

All of the drinks were basically a sludge kept in a freezer that you put into a big machine. The machine then blended the sludge with other ingredients to get the final result.
edit: Also all of the bread products came frozen and were then defrosted. It is why the Tim Horton's bread tastes so bad.

What a bunch of liars they are, soup is cooked in an industrial kitchen somewhere unknown, it comes cooked and frozen in boxes with 3 bags in each box, we put them in the freezer then is used as needed, Panera has a machine with hot water, you put the bags in there then after 10 minutes they get the bags out, pour the content of the bag in a pot and is ready to eat😂😂

The thing about all these products is they are most likely made from frozen anyways. Just cutting out the middle man.
Nope, my brother used to run a pizza shop, I run a store with fresh/frozen, fresh is "fresh", it's not slaughtered right out back, but fresh implies that it has not been frozen and is less then a few days old. there's really a huge difference in taste once you taste "fresh" vs "frozen", then again there's today's catch/slaughter... that's a whole new world, there's very few restaurants or stores that offers "meat of the day". but no you can't cut out "the middle man" and pass it off as "fresh".
Only the worst restaurants or stores offer frozen as "fresh", because everybody can tell and you'll get really bad reviews from even the most basic customer... they won't complain and say "it didn't taste fresh" but they will complain about stuff like "it was dry", "mushy", "chewy"... it's obvious.
they were testing fastfood chains "which indeed uses frozen ingredients" not your local pizza shop. also i highly doubt that you "run" anything... you might work at a grocery store though.

A lot of talk for someone who doesn't know a fast-food is. These are NOT fast food chains. They are restaurants. Fast food are places like McDonalds, Wendy's, Sonic, Arby.. They take about 2-5 minutes to make your food.
These places you go in, order, and you may be waiting 15 or so minutes. Unless it's a buffet.
As a former panera employee.... the soups are probably identical. We used to drop like 5lb frozen bags of soup into what was basically boiling water and then after they were thawed and heated up we would open the bag put them in a cambro/metal bucket thing and bring them to the front as if we had just made soup. I cant imagine the difference between one frozen soup and another is very much especially from the same company.

I had a massive Arby’s curly fry, when I say massive, I mean it was from the bottom of my hand (the heal) to the first knuckle of my middle finger in length... when it was coiled. It was very close to an inch in diameter.

New recipe: Pizza Skins
4 large baking potatoes
1/2 cup provolone cheese
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
1 packet of pepperoni
2 cups bought marinara or homemade if preferred
Preheat oven to 400 degrees, mix provolone cheese and mozzarella in medium mixing bowl and set aside. Wash the potatoes under cold water thoroughly, once the oven has reached 400 degrees, put the potatoes in and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the size of the potatoes.
Once the potatoes have finished baking take them out and let them cool until you can handle them with your bare hands. Take the potatoes and split them in half, after you have split all of the potatoes smash each half into a circle, use a rolling pin to flatten the halves out, after you have flattened them out sprinkle the cheese mixture and the pepperoni on top of the potato skins.
After you have prepared them, turn on the broiler and let it get hot, once it has place the skins in until the cheese melts then remove and enjoy.
