I genuinely think they should have made a much shorter trailer that didn’t get into the blood sharing element and also didn’t give away the fact she’s the bride if it had done that but just kept a subtle unease about this place and family I think it would be more enjoyable

Just imagine if they hadn’t put in the blood sucking/drinking and the her becoming the bride made a shorter trailer and just left us with Suble unease? Would have been intriguing

Well good thing I stopped the trailer less than A quarter of the way through.. Thats what I hate about movies today is they give everything away in the trailer. The camera cuts to different frames way too much, lack of character development. Movies today are just not all that good, and hard to find half way good moviesZf

I’m here to say, I wish to see the prequel that talks about Viktoria’s and Lucy’s relationship lol. They have more chemistry and more mysterious than the whole movie plot.
If you are reading the comments while watching the trailer… PLEASE STOP WATCHING AND JUST GO SEE IT. I’ve just seen the film and it was really good but would’ve been a much better experience if the trailer hadn’t spoiled basically the entire plot beforehand. The build up of the film would’ve been so much more suspenseful and the climax much more shocking, if I hadn’t known the biggest plot twists prior to going in.

Just watched it. I was expecting it to be horrible because of reviews and the comment section here, BUT, it was actually great! I loved every minute. It's not really hardcore horror. It has some horror scenes here and there but if you want non-stop blood, intestines and gore then this is not for you. This movie builds up in a mysterious, bizarre and flirtacious way. I kept wondering what was coming next. The main actrice did a wonderful job too, you start rooting for her. Very fun and interesting concept with plenty of twists. Also a stunning cast. I guess it's more of a girl's movie. Recommend 10/10!

it's very gothic horror and i honestly loved it. i genuinely was expecting it to be crappy and cheap but as someone who likes these sort of vampiric gothic movies, i think that its really good! the actress did an amazing job. it's honestly one of my fave movies and i personally would watch it again. it's definitely not for everyone though i guesss..
For a person who absolutely CANNOT watch horror movies, I genuinely enjoyed it with my friends. We literally just finished watching the movie and exited the cinema, please people WATCH IT!!

Didn't like the fact they showed what happened at the end. Why give it all away if you want people to go see it? Still I was stunned when I saw it, I don't normally watch scary movies, but I know & like the lead cast members.

The so-called "twist" of a horror movie with what would either be some sort of Lovecraftian horror (it almost never is, as that's "just too clever for audiences to appreciate") or vampires. It's always vampires.

I don’t care if this trailer gave away the whole movie there’s still a lot of parts of the movie that have yet to be seen and I look forward to seeing.
Like most trailers,.it does give to much, but their are other questions. Like, what is Evie whole purpose to the vamps? Was her mother originally supposed to be the bride years ago and was able to escape. Could Evie be a Dhampire? Which would explain how she is able to fight against the vamps.

I watched this trailer after seeing it in the theaters and I'm so glad I did, actually being surprised when the family turned out to be who they where felt nice I recommend going and seeing movies without seeing trailers and or having no knowledge about the film. The experience is always better

This trailer is a great time saver after you see this trailer no need to see the whole film just skip to the weeding and watch last 10 minutes and you will not have missed anything.
You already get foreboding when she meets up with Oliver and he invites her to the wedding, I was like saying oh, no Evie don’t go! I knew it couldn’t be good.
This Meghan Markle biopic looks promising.

To be honest,it actually isn't as bad as people made it out to be. The trailer does spoil all the best parts but I honestly didn't care. I actually had a good time with it,it's nothing new or different but the film served its purpose for what it was trying to do. It had charming character development and the lead was badass,and the last 30-45 mins was simply a fun ride even if it seemed rush. I enjoyed what it was. But the film could've been way better. It's cliche,ridiculous,has cheap jumpscares,and it's PG-13 so it holds back on what you really want in a vampire movie. But I sucked it up and watched it with low expectations knowing it wasn't going to be great and luckily it wasn't terrible either. I would watch it again just for the fun of it.

This looks phenomenal and it has the same vibe as my favourite underrated movie ready or not
But the vibe of ready or not was dark comedy, fun, followed by cartoonish levels of gore . This seems to have none of that. It seems like a melodrama with a remotely similar plot

this feels like a modern take on Crimson's Peak (which is a fantastic movie btw), I am living for it tbh

Bravo well done. Finally a decent thriller horror movie I actually enjoyed. Giving this definitely a thumbs up and a 9 out of 10. Would love to see more of this. Maybe a part two

It’s basically the same movie. A girl get married. Her family plays hide and seek and have to kill the bride and she is fighting to get out the house.

i saw the movie without watching the trailer, and I think that's the best way to go about it. the trailer gives away all the interesting plotpoints that shocked me. but the movie is def a great watch

So me and my girlfriend were wondering what to watch at the cinema this night, and I saw the first part of the trailer , but stopped since I saw some comments saying the movie was spoiled in the trailer ( oh how I wish I watched the whole trailer before buying tickets ), and there was one particular comment that said something along the lines of - “Oh the plot twist was sooo good why did I watch the trailer“ and since it said it was horror/thriller I was convinced to give it a try. Now I can safely say that I have seen some bad movies, but this one, this one is a special case. This is the first movie that actually infuriated me to my very core, it was so bad I was actually impressed, I don’t know how it was possible for this “movie” to be green-lit. The jump scares were cheap, there was not a moment you feel tension, the whole “romance” was so bad I was shaking my head every two sentences, at the end the main heroine managed to overpower all of the old vampires like it was nothing ( you know cuz slay queen 💅🤪🤪)( And yeah spoiler alert, but let’s be real I’m doing you a favor). And I’m actually angry at myself for having some expectations, thanks to that comment that said there was such a “plot twist”. -10/10 I would actually sacrifice my left eye and my unborn children to unwatch this movie.

I’ve watched the movie without watching the trailer and it’s really good. You all should watch it despite this trailer tho, kinda like ready or not but I don’t really mind it it’s still a good movie.
This movie is very in the middle for me. Is it bad? No. Is it good? Well, it’s entertaining. It starts very good, it’s engaging and you get invested in learning what’s going on, then you get to the scene that explains everything and it is… let’s just say not the most creative, but they still managed to keep my attention.
Reminder that there is already a horror movie named The Invitation from 2016 and it is criminally underappreciated, go check that out too
