In the more expensive version featured in this video (Garmin Venu 2 Plus), you can answer phone calls on an iPhone. With the Huawei watches - sadly -, you cannot pay (in Europe), nor answer to text messages.
The battery life of the Apple Watches is the reason why I’ll never buy one. I’ve found cheap smartwatches on Amazon that are great pieces of tech for cheap and their battery lives are better than an Apple Watch. My personal favorite smartwatch is my Garmin Tactix 7 Pro

Also, not a single smartwatch will last 10-25 years, and only very small number of ordinary wrist watches will last that long.
