I have the exact same mower. They are awesome. A couple things to note: The engine does burn a little oil even when new, so check it frequently. Check the oil WITHOUT SCREWING IN THE CAP on level surface. Remove the air filter cover there are 2 holes that allow you to blow out the grass from the cooling fins in the engine. You can add electric start on those engines, the flywheel is already setup. All you need is a starter motor, solenoid, battery and new key switch plus wiring. There's only 4 grease fittings total, 2 on the front wheels and 2 on front castors. Keep the turnbuckles and bearings on the steering lubricated, otherwise the steering becomes sticky.
I have the same air filter cover on my toro grand stand. The bolts wear out and I have to tighten them each day. I guess I need to get new ones 😂 thank you for the video sir 👍😎🇺🇸 note: I still say scag are the best mowers just to damn expensive for my age 🤣🤣🤣
I just replaced my spindles and theirs no grease fittings either . Mine are ball bearings . And I'll just replace them when they go bad . Great how to video . Thanks for sharing brother 🙏🏾

should be on each transmission, theres no dipstick, just a drain and fill plug
