“Different Standard Of JUSTICE!” Notting Hill Carnival ‘Should Be CANCELLED’ After Three Stabbings

- A heavy police presence is expected at the second day of Notting Hill Carnival after three people were stabbed on Sunday.
The Metropolitan Police said a 32-year-old woman was in a life-threatening condition in hospital after being stabbed during the event.
A 29-year-old man was left with injuries not thought to life-threatening and police were awaiting an update on the condition of a 24-year-old man who had also been stabbed.
Fifteen officers were assaulted, although none were seriously injured, and 90 arrests had been made on Sunday, police said.

I recall listening to a resident who was furious that they could not leave their house and for days were in constant fear of damage to them or their property. Mostly peaceful!!!!!! tell that to the police officers injured and those stabbed.

I've worked at Glastonbury for 20 + years used to manage 150 stewards in the late night party bit for 6-7 years no stabbings actually I didn't see a fight, we would have a 100,000 people through the fields I managed, we were a bit rough in the late 1990s but never as rough as Notting hill .
And Glastonbury has hundreds of thousands of people we have arrests but stabbings no . so saying its a big event so there will be stabbings is false

There was a celebration by patriots of British culture on the 27th July in Trafalgar Square! No scenes like these, no stabbings, no police assaults, a lovely day had by all! We the people have our constitutional rights but we’ve never been told them. I hope you mean stabbings and not Caribbean culture. To go to a festival in the Caribbean is the ultimate in friendliness and joy. I saw many drummers in the parade. But not a single Musician. I have played guitar for 47 years and made a little side money teaching kids to play. In the last 20 years I have had exactly 0 students. They let the muggers walk away with my phone and wallet and the police told me to leave nottinhill or I'd be arrested. Lost and stranded I ended up falling asleep outside the underground because they wouldn't let me on without an oyster card 😂😂 carnival gets 1/10 from me.

It makes me so sad that people can’t just be peaceful. For the majority these carnivals are a great way to bring people together. Every year I have gone to St. Paul’s in Bristol it’s been a wonderful even people just enjoying food and music, making new friends. There will always be someone who will ruin it for the majority and it’s not the community’s fault there is a couple of bad eggs.
