So glad someone was able to dig up all these clips. Tom Lehrer was a brilliant guy. He was popular in the 60s but is rarely heard about these days. Thanks for posting this! Anyone seeing this who's unfamiliar with his work should look up more of his songs on CZcams.

I never watched Harry Potter so I never knew the Harry Potter fan base loved Lehrer so much. However I know Daniel Radcliffe helped bring in new wave of Tom Lehrer fans after singing The Elements on Graham Norton which is cool and all, but still he can be “Rarely heard from”.
@@TLS0ngs I suppose! I found him relatively quick despite being from Argentina, so maybe I see him as more famous than he is. Living legend.

i once saw a clip of "we'll all go together when we go" in a documentary by veritasium's derek muller about nuclear reactors or something

You're too young. Most of these songs are from the 50s and early 60s. Lehrer's still alive - 95!

Probably must confess but I never got into that show. But the clip of Sheldon singing The Elements while drunk was funny though😂
You left out A Gathering of Eagles! He wrote a song just for that film.
