YES !!!!! - 40 now but this takes me back to the days of covent garden spinning on lino n cardboard - loved this choooooon !! this space cowboy and the like - paris angels , chrome angelz , the legendary scribbler , watching all da uk crews breaking - proper music proper days !!
I remember these guys practising every week at Wigan Pier on Tuesday nights. Greg Wilson the resident DJ became their manager. I remember this played for the first time on Radio Piccadilly (later Key 103) in Manchester on Mike Shafts "Taking Care of Business" (TCOB) on a Monday night. I have it on an old cassette somewherein my attic with Greg and Mike Talking about it briefly.
Brill!! used to uprock with this playing back in the day, so many great memories from back then traveling the uk from wales in search of uprocks and new friends shame not more of todays kids dont do the same instead of fighting etc. big up all the OLD SCHOOL BREAKERS EVERYWHERE!!
I have the streetwave copy signed by some of the crew, similarly with UK electro LP signed by some of the crew, thanks to JoJo Mavrakis for getting that done for me 😊
YES YES YES !!! i remember that - had it on old VHS for years along with Arena - a hip hop history . I remember the big bald guy who done the mad headspin !!!!
I've still got this on an old vhs tape somewhere & the battle that's been mentioned in other comments previously on here where they all turned up an old ford motor. I remember Tommy Boyd introduces it....vintage uk old school right here! Didn't realise ruthless rap assasins were in the crew but makes sense now all hailing from Madchester

I like prodigy and I'm not anti-sampling, but damn, girls is basically a remix of this track oO
The rhythm, drumtrack, bassline, progression

I love this tune. I'm sure I taped (VHS...!) a great battle scene off the TV in the UK at this time. I wish I could find that on You Tube.

@Cyrillion What part of dj'ing you didn't understand? Every song from daft punk is sampled, because they are djs too.
@lemonproject Same as mate - although when drunk enogh the breakdancing tends to rear its ugly head - which my mrs loves - NOT !!
The MCs rappers or whatever you call them sound American? Are they faking the accent?
@bartlemy Not quite true, most UK rappers these days rap in their brit accents
