Our motorhome trip to the Christmas markets of Denmark came to an abrupt halt when we realised we had forgotten to check something important.
What has Redders done with his drone this time?
Why were we banned from the Christmas market?
whats it like to park up on a harbour edge in a gale?
and to top it all its getting VERY cold!

Brings back memories of last June. Stayed 4 days and didnt see it all. Christianna is an eye opener. Dont miss Helsingborg Castle to your north and stay on the marina aire but again only 6 places. And don't miss Roskilde.
Good Evening ! Thanks for commenting , much appreciated, it’s a beautiful city isn’t it ! We met the harbour master at the marina who let us park on the end of the row, we were the eighth motorhome , but as you say only room for 6 plug ins, so we were very lucky to get in ! We did visit the free city ! Wow, what a place that is, didn’t quite make it to the castle , but there is definitely a next time for us ! Appreciate the advice , Thankyou ❤️❤️🇩🇰

@@redsgotravels I was watching urban vanlife last night they was converting one but it’s 1 grand lol and the other problem is you can’t use it while moving unless you pay silly money . It’s a pain to keep putting it up tho as we know !!

Well done, you have it insured. We didn't have ours insured, when I flew mine into a tree.
Morning guys ! 🎄❤️ yes , so relieved to have had it insured when it became a submarine 😬, worth every penny, and the insurance has paid out within 3 days of claim, new one ordered , highly recommend coverdrone, they are Brilliant.

Glad you got a new drone on the way I would be gutted if it was mine .
It was so sad to see it, it was set for RTH and it just kept on reverting to landing , every cancel of the land function was overridden, I was gutted, the flight data revealed a battery failure, should’ve had enough to come back, but chose not to 😞 , coverdrone were brilliant with the claim ❤️
Only 46 years since I was last in Copenhagen, Tivoli was closed so I couldn't see it either!

I'm glad your enjoying yourself if you want there's a ferry from Helsingörungen to Helsingborg it's about 30 minutes and the price is okay but the Oersund bridge is something else, drive safely David in Germany

We have just left the Xmas markets In Cologne now they were very good but very busy and are on our way to Copenhagen currently in Lubeck “free parkup” so watching your video with interest

Sorry to hear about the drone, it may turn out to have been a warped battery that simply popped out causing the drone to fall so don't beat yourself up too much as it probably wasnt your fault. Coverdrone are excellent for quick turn arounds. Watch when replacing if you decide on a mini 4 upgrade, once used in Europe they are locked to 120m AGL @ takeoff point, not standard UK 120m AGL so super restrictive if flying in mountains, and so far DJI are refusing to allow owners to revert to unrestricted even when flying in UK :(

And good evening , yes coverdrone have been amazing, and the flight data did reveal a defective battery, it just went into landing mode, not even RTH, I’ve gone for an air 2s along with my mini 2 , luckily I’d registered with the French aviation authority and sorted my licence which covered me for Europe, my Uk one was invalid as we are no longer in Europe , thanks for the comments, really appreciate the info ❤️❤️🎄
@@redsgotravels I actually sold my Air2s to get the Mini3 Pro as despite holding an A2CofC license I was still restricted to >50m from uninvolved people with no over flights all because it was over 250g, so the hours studying & £100s I spent on the course still meant anyone getting a mini2/3/4 from Argos could get shots I couldn’t. I suppose I have a CAA issued plastic license card to remind me that bigger isn’t always better hahaha.
Glad you got sorted quickly with a replacement :) the 1/2” camera sensor on the Air2s is fantastic especially in low light!
Hi and thanks again ! Yes I also have a mini 2 , it does give you the easy option for sure, but it’s worth having both operator Id and flyer Id no matter what the drone is, keeps the insurance company happy 🙂
Interesting about the insurance, I’m registered to fly in the uk and wanted to register my drone for flying in Spain but I couldn’t find anyway of registering it. In the end I gave up went to Spain and flew it twice. So if I had lost the drone, from reading your comment I wouldn’t have been insured! I do have both flyer ID and operator ID for the uk. Glad you got sorted out. I thought you handled it very well. That’s both of you, my mrs would have hit the roof😂
I struggled to register it to, but as long as you register it in the first European country you want to fly in , it covers the rest of Europe , I did mine via the French aviation website and it was super easy , so if you did this it would cover Spain too, 👍 🙂
What drone did you loose to the wind, it must of been fairly windy
It was a Mavic 2, the data analysis identified a defective battery, which is why it landed in the Baltic Sea instead of its automatic return to home 😞 , shame, a good drone, air 2s and new batteries sorted , insurance paid out, they were fab 👍🎄
Love the British Airways remark 😂. That is the one reason I won't let my husband have one, it would get lost 😅. What a beautiful place to see Christmas lights and decorations. The Guards looked rubbish compared to the British ones😊. Another fab video, thank you.

Am interested in where you got the drone insurance. Not lost mine totally yet, but had a few frantic searches in wooded hillsides and fields when it has gone down unexpectedly.
Coverdrone, absolutely brilliant, they’ve already paid out and a new one ordered, I’m going to sort a short vlog on flying in Europe, as you need a separate licence, certificate from EASA , the fines can be big if you don’t comply and also your insurance is void .. the drop into the ocean was down to a faulty battery , as they also require flight data from the controller , it’s a bit complex, but covered me in full 👌❤️🎄
@@redsgotravels I only have the Mini2 so under 250g as I did not think that needed licensing ? Are the rules changing in that regard ?
You will still need an operator identification, as it has a camera, it’s what my insurance company wanted when a prop detached from my mini, to be honest, getting the licence is straight forward and not costly, I think it’s worth doing , I’ve also got an air 2s on the way , the regs in Europe are similar but you still need to register with the aviation authority 👍👍❤️
I also cover mine in fluorescent vinyl ( available online ) bright green or orange , as the grey can get lost easy, also the find my drone feature is good, so long as it’s not ended up in the Baltic Sea 🌊😬🥶

RIP to your Drone. Good to know it's insured. Also, is your green foliage in your moho real or fake. It looks lovely. We can't keep plants alive (dogs yes, plants no) - so I love the idea of a bit of fake foliage to brighten the place up :)
Hi ! Yes, new drone on its way, thankfully insurance company were spot on 🙂 the greenery is a bargain from Temu, totally fake 😂🎄❤️ but it does look quite real 🙂
