Of all the Star Wars game ideas, why this? I’ll admit it looks a little better than I expected but not by much

@@THE_GEEK72 actually I think that's their point. They ARENT trying something new, they're trying to cash in on something that has not only been done to death, but something that most real video game fans have disliked since day one; mobile phone games.
Most SW fans are looking for something to give us immersion into the galaxy far far away, we want something to dump 3500 hours into, RPG character building, detailed and thrilling combat, the ability to let us live out our childhood fantasies as Jedi, Sith, Bounty Hunters, explorers, Pod Racers, Starfighter Pilots; not some app that we have to dump $200 a month in just to be able to play a round of SW themed Fortnite for half an hour while on a bus ride.
SW has one of the biggest sci-fi/fantasy world's ever created, and yet the people in charge of it don't want to bother putting the work in to take advantage of that because they are so concerned with making an extra few bucks.
