Lawn Transformation Yard Clean Up - Week 2 (Weed Removal, Mowing) When it comes to lawn transformation people start at all levels, beginning at using major weed killer, killing existing weeds, teaching them how to level your lawn and grasses permanently all the way to lawn looks awesome just need to fix small issues with reseeding lawn. Last time we began the overgrown lawn transformation process with the first 3 steps when you have existing turf, weeds , or a field you need to rehab. I had a glyphosate resistant Bermuda grass so I chose to go after it using

This weeks steps: as the grass, weeds and material was dying, is to water it to help the kill work better and to grow any new weeds so we can delete this process the next couple of weeks.
As we drew nearer to the 4-6 day mark, I mowed the material down, water again, and when day 7 came I hit it again with glyphosate / ornamec.

Hopefully we’ll be doing our backyard next year. We’ve still got a bunch of work to do back there before we’re ready to reno the lawn. So it’s nice to get an idea ahead of time what will be involved.
I don’t think I’ve ever “heard” and electric mower. We’ve gone to electric on blower, weed eater, edger, etc. but still running a gasser on the mower. It just stood out to me lol

Thx. Over seeding my Fescue mid Sept. is the Ornamec best to kill Bermudagrass? And after spraying how long to wait to lay down the seeds?

Ornamec is going to kill the Bermuda in less rounds then the glyphosate (and not kill your fescue, if you use it correctly according to the label). This speeding up the process. It does take 3 weeks to get a good kill on Bermuda, but your good to seed after 14 days after use.
