    Very cool having it completed.
    The 25 chapter books are the way to go.

    (I just want to add a disclaimer: when "Pink House" said the Nancy Drew games are definitely not for kids, she meant they are complex and complicated-not that there was anything objectionable in it! There is no sex, no appreciable violence, no bad language or anything like that)

    Hey there!!!! The Farah’s Guide, which is what I think you’re using to date these books, unfortunately does not mention library versions, BUT that’s what the Green hardbound “The Sign of the Twisted Candles” is. I have several of the green Library bound versions, and depending who the Library Publisher was, the green formats appeared in the mid to late 50’s and ran through the mid 60’s, having both Original and Revised text. OT having the 25 chapters and the RT having only 20. Hope that’s able to help you some! Nice collection and Happy Sleuthing! 🔎

    Cool! I was never a Nancy Drew fan, but I have the Three Investigators and Trixie Belden series (I have the complete series and multiple editions). I do know that Nancy has many different series, from the main series, to the more mature casefiles, to the books for little kids (notebooks, clue crew, and something else) It gets quite involved. Are you just into the first series?

    The unknown version looks like a book I checked out of the library when I was a kid. I think it's older. If I remember correctly the font is smaller and more old fashioned looking.

    I have a bunch of the later 1969-1981 ones, I don’t want to sell them, but I was wondering If u knew If they were worth anything? Also, when you were saying about the extra 5 chapters in the older ones, does that mean that the newer ones aren’t the full story?
    Thanks!

      Most it depends on the condition but these books will usually fetch between $1.00 to $20.00 per book with $10 being a sound average. There is the odd exception to that rule where a small handful my fetch $30

      Hi David! A great place to sell them would be ebay or a local antique store. Would you mind giving me more details about them? Is it a complete collection? Do any of them have dust covers? Do they have the gloss covers? Let me know! Thanks!

    • @davidmckie2567

    Why did you not show all of the books on your shelf??

    • @lindavangalder879
      @lindavangalder879 Před 3 lety +1

      Because it would take too long. The video's main purpose was to show how the cover, and inside looked for Nancy Drew books written in different years, not to show every book. But I understand the confusion because the video's title is "My vintage Nancy Drew series oldest to newest," leading most viewers thinking she would show every book, so maybe she should change the title of her video? Anyway, I did find this video very interesting and enlightening.
