As this Dark souls in Pinochio setting we can expect things to get very tragic.
So after losing his son for long time Ghepetto went mad from sorrow, so he got delusional and consumed with creating new Pinochio.
By the time, he realised he created a whole army of puppets.
Then we got Nier Automata situation, where all puppets became sentient and desired life of their own and as a result destroyed the world...
At the very end Pinochio will see Ghepetto as sad, broken man not even realising that his son came to him.

Nah this is prequel. Gascoigne used to be known as Geppetto before Bloodborne. He made Pinocchio that after becoming real boy, became real girl and they moved to Yharnam.

The ending of the original story of the Little Mermaid is actually horrifying. Most children's tales had a "scare them straight" attitude towards teaching what's right and wrong, but Disney's versions are the ones in the popular memory now.

Crazy how different the game actually is. You can see framgelicas wing in the cathedral and it must have been an early version of the boss. Also so the voice here was used for manus not Geppetto. Fascinating to return to.

Voice acting of this trailer is rough, but they cleaned it up on release and delivered an amazing game
if the setting is the same (of course with proper stylistic choices) as the original Pinocchio, this means is the second soulslike announced this year that is set in Italy. There's another one called "Project Galileo"

Agree. Voice acting definitely sounded like someone with a naturally higher range forcing their voice to go lower. Problem is that most people also need to slow the cadence of their speech abnormally to achieve the same level of vocal fry as someone with a naturally deeper voice, so it comes out sounding like crap.
Voice acting plays a huge part in creating that first impression, so they should have spent a bit more money and time finding a voice actor that fit the profile.
