Some of the stuff they did made the movies seem to go wayyyyyy smoother and felt like it had more flow and made sense. Actors in the new movies follow the script and never change anything.
Idk why they would take snacks, i get sometimes it might not fit with a scene but in times when they’re just talking i feel like it’s okay to be snacking and acting at the same time, i feel like it adds more authenticity, makes the characters seem more real and relatable in a way.

This is an old acting trick. You need to do something with your hands and body while delivering dialog or else it doesn't work as well or look natural. RDJ is an excellent actor and knows this well and snacks work for the Tony Stark character so it gives his character something to do while speaking.
