@@CamilleNadiaThe writers really did seem to enjoy having this couple gut punch each other. Besides this scene, I recall Luke leaving Laura on her b-day and then later Laura asking Luke for a divorce the day of his sister's wedding. Nevermind Laura sleeping with the enemy.
Genie did a great job. I don't know if the "I hate you" was directed at herself or Luke, but it was unrealistic of the writers to have her destroy Lucky's room. When you lose a loved one, you want to hold onto their things..no destroy them. Maybe should have had her destroy the bedroom they shared, not Lucky's room.

Luke did nothing wrong. He and Laura are separated and at this point she was in a full blown relationship with Stefan. I feel her pain catching Tammy, but fans acting like Luke screwed up are dead wrong. He was a free man as Laura considered herself a free woman.

I can live with that scene. Luke yearned for human contact and sometimes this yearning expresses itself in the form of casual sex or sex with hookers, especially with someone like Luke. It makes sense for me, and it‘s unimportant if it makes the character for some people unlikable. What annoys me instead is that I‘m pretty sure this scene wasn‘t written because of an - as I find - intelligent insight in Luke‘s sometimes flawed and immoral personality as well as in his anti-establishment attitude but to make the, as far as I know (I‘m watching this show for the first time), following love story between Laura and Stephan acceptable for the audience. And sorry, I just don‘t like this storyline, it has an undertone that irritates me. But I must admit, although I‘m sometimes a litte bit critical of GF‘s acting, here I find her very good. If she forgets her often I‘m a good girl-niceness and conventional behaviour (and is without make-up and her usual conservative appearence) and just shows raw emotions she can be really amazing.
I get that Luke was raised around this, so it may be his norm, or "go to", but when it came to Laura, we were supposed to believe that that part of his heart belonged to her. So, I'm just mad at the scene for that reason. But, it's a soap, and I'll live! And, as for you Aelfthryd, it's all good. I believe that we are all entitled to our opinion's, and there is no wrong one! So, thanks for your comments!

I just wanted to present my point of view which I‘ve realized by now differs from the majority‘s (I‘ve read quite a lot of youtube comments and some forum posts). I just finished this playlist and although I didn‘t like everything about the L&L story I nonetheless feel like most viewers some sadness about how this (thanks to AG‘s talent and charisma) unconventional love story developed which is really odd as I am otherwise rather a rational and sober person. He talks about his night of sleeping around with some woman - either a hooker, or a waitress. I'm gonna have to go back and dig that up. It wasn't until he saw Laura, that he found himself inexplicably drawn to one woman (or at least that's the bill of good they sold us). In the '90s era, Luke, Laura, Lucky and Bobbie talk about "Luke's first", and it sounded like it may have been a hooker.

However when Luke told her it was over she’s pretty much been dating Stefan the entire time she’s was literally about to go to Paris with that man when this happened.... But now she’s in her feelings because she walked in on Luke kissing another woman? I mean damm Luke hurting too which is why he kissed her it was a comfort thing... it’s not like he knew Laura was on her way🙄

Laura was acting like Nikolas and Stefan were a package deal it was hard enough for Luke to try eventually accept nikolas but now Stefan is always in Laura’s face acting like he just happened to be their he was always finding ways to ‘run in’ to her always finding reasons to stay in PC Stefan planned from jump to break L&L up or did you forget he admitted that he planned on giving Laura’s mom back as gift on THEIR (S&L) wedding night!!! Gentlemen or not that man is sick😂...He played on that woman’s guilt of being forced to give Nik behind as his way back in her life Laura knew that and allowed it so the rest of her secrets wouldn’t come out and to keep Nik close.... She didn’t trust her husband enough to tell the whole truth and in turn her husband don’t trust her... secrets and lies are cancer to relationships
