Tips: Bangkok to Chaing Mai Train

There are many options for getting from Bangkok to Chiang Mai while traveling in Thailand. We opted for the overnight train. The trip is ~14 hours, but eliminates traveling during the day. Overall, it was a great experience in Thailand. This video shows second class car.
There is no online ticket system for the Bangkok to Chiang Mai train. For these tickets, we used a third party provider who has an office near the station. They walk across the street and buy tickets and hold them at their office. You then pick them up. Tickets can only be purchased up to 60 days in advance.

ps. The 2nd class train at 6:00 pm have a bigger bed and 2nd class train at special round at 6:45 is new train (red seat) is so much better and clean when you come back to Bangkok you can try it's very nice :D
