at least you're getting sleep
Facts
You guys are getting sleep ???!!!
The secret trick is going to sleep earlier
thats incredibly sad
No, I did not think Usain Bolt, a sprinter, ran the fastest mile ever.
At WR speeds a mile must be sprinted.
@@drybonespaintingservices3017 ok? Usain Bolt ran the sprints… short distance…
@@jawstat8609 good point.
@@drybonespaintingservices3017 This is not true. The true fastest mile on a flat surface was run by Hicham El Guerrouj in a time of 3:43.13, meaning he ran at 16.13 mph. Even a relatively fit average human can sprint at around 18 mph.
The longest event that is considered to be entirely a sprint is the 400 meters. Technically, 400 meters sprinters only actually sprint for around 350 meters of the 400 because that is the absolute maximum distance a human can realistically run at top speed for before the aerobic system takes over.
@@vqlcano1698 🤓
Craig Wheeler, who ran a downhill mile in 1993 in a time of 3:24
Bro is Joe Caine alt
Saved me 1 min
Cool
19 seconds faster than the official record, that’s pretty crazy
But imagine the fastest miler ran the downhill mile lol
@@beastgracey2966 exactly 😁
If it's not on a flat surface Then it's not the fastest mile, you could say that falling from a plane for a mile counts too
Bro literally said fastest mile ever *ran*
@@masonvevo. so with a falling treadmill 😂
He said fastest mile RAN on any terrain. No, it’s not the fastest *flat* mile, but it’s still the fastest mile anyone has ever ran.
@@Dustin_1487 but most of the energy comes from the *falling* forward and not the running it self!
It is the same as driving in a car and making your feet touch the ground like you are running
@@RisingFlag100 yes but it is not the fastest mile ran but fastest mile falling forward and Trying not to fall at the same time, (most of the energy comes from the falling forward and not the running)
"Pshh, bro that's easy."
*Jumps off of skyscraper* 💀
Problem is, you need to jump off of 2 Burj Khalifas to achieve it, also, RUN.
@@Bep101don't underestimate the power of an Assassin's Creed player
@@OK-69420 wdym still not a mile, you will have to skydive or jump of a plane.
Idont think there is any skyscrapers a mile long
Nobody would ever think of Bolt or Kipchoge for the fastest mile.
People who don't know much about running might
He means people who are famous really fast runners, not necessarily those two in particular.
Who ran the fastest mile? I am not really well informed about running
@@grillbesteck6319 for a track mile, Hicham El-Gerrouj (3:43*)
People might think of Bolt because he’s the most famous runner and also one of the most famous athletes to ever exist winning 9 olympic medals coming in second after Phelps with 23
For those wondering Hicham El Guerrouj ran the fastest track mile in ‘99 at 3:43.34. That is 55.47 seconds per lap.
you moroccan too ?
That’s not the record
He’s Moroccan tight?

Gabe: who ran the fastest mile ever?
Video: shows clips of sprinters
What about cameraman
Eliud ain't a sprinter man
@@starryypop no but he's also not a middle distance runner. He's a long distance to marathon runner
While it was downhill, that is still an insane pace to be running. Have you ever ran down a steep slope? It’s gonna hurt. It’s not the fastest mile ever, but it is extremely impressive.
Wdym its nkt the fastest mile ever? 3:24 shatters any flat mile
@@anonymousperson3023 not the fastest mile as in flat mile. Pair this guy against the dude who ran the WR mile on a track and this kid would be destroyed
Dude I can run at fucking Bolt speed downhill you go like twice as fast 💀
@@Ballsackgamin nah but you gotta consider it’s over the course of a while and that’s crap kills your legs after a while
You can just slide down a 90 degree wall at achieve world record
Your legs are technically touching your ground
Since if a 70 degree slope counts
Why can't a 90 degree one count
But u might die after falling for 1 mile tho
Why would we think it’s Usain Bolt? He’s a sprinter
“You’re probably thinking it was Michael Phelps or Tonya Harding”
Or Eliud Kipchoge, a marathon runner.
Ik this is why it's referred to as middle distance 😂
Imagine you’re at a highschool track meet and you ask for the pr of a guy in your heat and he says, “3:24” and it’s not even a lie.
Yeah but it was downhill so it’s not his track pr, that would be slower
There's always that one guy: "3:24, but it wasn't official, and it was downhill"
My fastest mile was 4:12 way back in highschool my junior year.
@@pkneppsFr u could do that w1leg tied behind your back I bet
No one was thinking Bolt. His coach says that Bolt never ran a mile in his life.
Wow, now I can't help but wonder if a few years ago I could have beaten Usain Bolt in a mile race.
@@matthewmitchell3457I bet you could if you were sub 4:45 (you still have to remember bolt was the most elite track athlete of all time)
bro is 46 now

@@Relatable_christian I can't find that information. How do you know this guy died?
Damn
@@luciamartin8725 he went to the same school I go to in England and my school honors him every year at a track meet bc he didn’t just hold that record but he ran track for us and was our best miler on a track for HS anyway sadly he died when he was 18 in a car accident we still like to honor him tho that’s why he have a track meet everyone year that’s dedicated to him

The 16 year old kid: I'm the fastest
The cameraman: You sure?
English 16 y/o when they see yorkshire tea downhill
Bro is still trying to slow down until this day
The british kid had to run fast to not get stabbed
Bros knees must have detonated at the end
That is an average speed of 17.6mph or 28.3kph
Where do you get 17.6?
3.24 minutes / miles
Times 1 hour / 60 minutes
Cancels out the minutes and you get
0.054 hours / miles
Now take the inverse
=18.5 miles / hour
Edit:
I misheard 3:24 with 3.24
So we got 3.4minutes/mile
Same math gives us
17.6. My bad, your math is good
Bro really said you might think of Usain Bolt. He’s literally a 100 and 200 guy. There’s a difference between sprinters and distance. (Distance is better)
Bro said “you may think Usain Bolt😂😂😂😂

As a 16 year old from England I can garentee that we all can run a mile in 3 minutes, sadly we can only do this on a hill and our powers go when we turn 17 😢.
Bro thinks Usain Bolt can run a mile
would falling count to the mile because then id just run out of a plane fall one mile and then use my parachute
Can you run on air? If you can somehow run on air, then yes, it's the fastest mile ever ran
