  • I got asked a couple times how I made the hump on my arakkoa cosplay. I am happy to show how I hide the human figure! I like to do it in a way that won't hurt my back since I have scoliosis. Hope this helps you in your own Monster making!

    THIS is exactly what I was looking for! I want to morph the human body into other-worldly proportions. I would love to see a detailed video (maybe you already have one) of building the shoulder structure - the basics of attaching the straps to wear, where to put them etc.

    Bloodborne. Most likely a cleric beast or Vicar Amelia. Did not need the hint. I've been a silent follower of your content for quite a while, and being a fan of Bloodborne as well, the answer was clear. You are truly an inspiration to me as an artist and as a person. I relate a lot to you, (including faith!) and I really enjoy your work. Your husband's good at being a test subject as well. Anyways, I eagerly await your Bloodborne beast, in addition to your fursuit upgrades,(I'm holding you to that!)

      @@KazplayVideos How silly of me. The ones I picked were way too obvious to pick. You're actually making the One Reborn. That would translate really well into costume! Jokes aside, most of the beasts and characters of Bloodborne have really complex designs, so I sure am curious who you try to capture in foam. Can't wait! Thanks for replying back.

    Any chance you've got any videos on how you made the helmet support that the mask is attached to? I'm trying to create the creature with a similar build and your idea for doing the hunched back is excellent! I'm wondering if I can use one of those technical police/swat helmets as the base for the supports to come off of.

    • @KazplayVideos
      @KazplayVideos  Před 5 měsíci +1

      I don't have a video about that specifically, I though my thermoplastics design video does have a closer look at it. I have wanted to try using a welding helmet brace as the base of a newer mask though!

    I've been curious about this. I have a bad back IRL and need the assistance of a cane to walk. I've had this idea in mind of making an old Chozo from the Metroid series, an old bird woman with a large walking stick and a hunched appearance. So you bet I'll be taking notes here.

  • @poisonmilow
    @poisonmilow Před 4 lety

    My question is not about the hump. But during your video, I saw a wireband inside of the beak in front of the facemask. I am quite sure it is a mechanism for a moving jaw.
    I am working on a Project like that and have an idea of that mechanism, but it would be very helpful to see how others solved the problem of a moving jaw, without having the own jaw within the jaw of the mask.
    Can you tell more about that?
    Thanks, very much!

    • @KazplayVideos
      @KazplayVideos  Před 4 lety +1

      I have a little video about that on my Facebook page: facebook.com/Kazulcosplay/videos/1517739741802166/ i had a cable go from my jaw, to the top of the character's head, then to the character jaw. it was rigged so the characters's mouth would open opposite to mine so I could have the mouth default to open so I could see. Hope that makes sense!

    Do you have any advice for anyone who wants to go with a hunched back, but doesn't have any knowledge or power tools to use for the illusion? I've always wanted to cosplay the twin victim baby-heads from Silent Hill 4.

    • @KazplayVideos
      @KazplayVideos  Před 3 lety

      The only power tools I used in the arakkoa and Genn Greymane was a dremel and a heat gun. I used the dremel to drill the holes that I put bolts through on the helmet and the resin base. dremels are really easy to use and there are lots of tutorials about using them on youtube, just jump in and give it a try!
