3:33 I wished they kept the orginal setting. I like to restart phone Sun , Wed, Fri & time on its own.
As someone who used the S22 Ultra as my daily driver for a year and now have owned the S23 Ultra since it was released I'll say it makes no sense to use Light Mode vs Performance. The improved battery life is so dramatic with the new S23 Ultra I'm getting an extra half day on Performance settings. Use it to it's full potential and thank me later
Yes I'll be saving lite mode for when my s23 ultra starts to show battery life issues a year or two from now.
@@josephnevin I've been buying Samsung flagships since the Note 2 and haven't had a single battery issue or concern. Your comment makes zero sense especially when it comes to using the performance setting vs the light setting which has zero to do with battery longevity. Lol
Sir I need to know what about charging the phone up to 100 percentage is it okay because last week only I have bought samsung S23 ...this is my first flagship device that's why I'm asking
@@Yielar1 It does not make a big difference because phones now dont have this dumb mythical issue. You should not however, charge your phone everytime for example from 80% to 100% in my opinion
Let it reach a lower battery percentage like 40% and then you can charge it to minimize the amount of charging cycles
@@_hector__ these modern batteries are quite remarkable. I don't worry much about charging but yeah I usually do get to about 40% at night before I plug in the charger
Great video, thanks for the tips!
Very helpful video. Thanks for this info 😊
Well explained..
Useful tips...thanks a lot
I don't have performance profile in my battery settings and I have the one UI update as well where can I go to change this
Not that my s23ultra needs it but I turned on light mode anyway because any decrease in battery usage and heat is good for the life of the battery. I haven't tried doing heavy tasks with it on but for normal light tasks I see no difference in performance and a slight increase in battery life.
liked many aspects have been covered already. One thing I would like to hear about "adaptive power saving" feature that applies power saving automatically when it's needed.
Hi Alex, I watch all your videos they are incredible..Could you make up an entire video for making our routines way useful like charging overnight
Already in the works!
That "Restart When Needed" option kinda sucks; I remember when it was previously more fleshed out. You could schedule an automatic reboot at a certain time of day, and if you wanted, you could do it everyday.
I really miss this after moving from my redmi
I wish I could keep adaptive brightness on but have the option to disable the extra brightness feature.
What is adaptive power saving. Stillnot got any detailed video how it operates
What casing do you use for your cellphone? Looks cool.
Spigen, I left a link in the description
don't forget to trun off brightness mode in advanced setting (Lab, S Pen, etc).,.
Also the screen resolution is very helpful the difference isn’t noticeable
Im on the newest version why is there no performance profile availabe?
Thanks, this is really helpful. I already had these things adjusted, except the 3rd and 4th tipp. Didn't know about that. My tips (even if they seem logical) are: don't have NFC, GPS, cellular data and Bluetooth always on. Only turn on when needed.
Glad to help!
Is it possible to hang the s24 ultra bcoz it is snapdragon 8 gen 3?
MIUI still better with Ultra Battery Saver feature. Kill all background, all service, light launcher, dark mode
Is there a battery charge bypass mode when isb charge cable attached to save battery charge cycles?
Yes, it's under Game Booster Settings
@@lapenghakwackz7589 But that's only for game mode unfortunately.
I've done everything you have recommended in your videos my phone still lags 😮
I don't own an Android phone, I own a Tablet but I guess the same thing applies to it as well.
I hate dark mode. I view that as a sacrifice. I'll never enable that. I understand why some would, but I just think dark mode is absolutely UGLY.
Am using 5.1 still can't find performance profile in my device. I'm using A72
It's only on the S23 series atm 😢
Could you review some apps for us? The Package Disabler Pro and ADB App Controller. Thanks
"That means that your phones display is using much less battery power to power your display." You don't say! No way! Are you sure it isn't my phone's battery using much less display to display my battery? 😂
The performance profile is not 5.1
I have a Samsung Note 20 Ultra and am on 5.1 and I don't have this option. So it's gotta be a phone feature.
It is a 5.1 feature, but I believe at the moment limited to s23 series - hopefully makes it down to older models as well
@@TechnicallyAlex Weird they would have that option locked behind the phone model. You are probably right. Great video's. 👍🙏🏻
@edde333 its just an annoying thing they do to Incentivize people to buy the new phones..
Basically, when you're considering to be using dark mode constantly, need to check out if your status bar changes color from white to black and visa versa, bcoz you may have with screen burn in after a while, so I'm preferring to use automatically change white/dark mode, even thought it will consume more juice
No modern OLED display will suffer from screen burn, Samsung makes the best displays in the world (even Apple buys displays from Samsung for their iphone lineup)
@@TheHottabych23 7000 hrs is 291 days, iphone 14 came out 206 days ago.. by your own definition this doesn't make sense.. also any screen burn issue these people experience is most likely a manufacturing defect.. just because a hand full of people experienced an issue, doesn't mean it is an actual problem of the masses
@@scornbro112 apple is not a first day on smartphones market, they control quality pretty well, but it's not only apple, Samsung suffers from it, basically any phone manufacturer who use OLED screens. When Samsung Galaxy s7 came out some people had burn in screens even in 1 week of using. Currently I see 1-1.5 months of using based on different posts on Twitter/Reddit. And the damaged pixels location show the cause, like people who typing a lot has damaged keyboard, who used Waze-app pattern
My S22 ultra almost 2 years and now I discover this burn in behind the status bar! So a auto hide status bar is what we need as option
All features are good m.r Samsung ❤😅
Duh
🙏🏻😎🔥
Also,Dark Mode is also 100% effective on Samsung Smartphones with lcd screens as well
Dark mode actually ends up using more battery because you end up putting the brightness almost all the way up just to see your phone...
That is not true at all, I use it all the time, and I can clearly see everything. Perhaps you need glasses
@@HavLnt 😂😂😂😂😂😂
bruh what is this comment LOL
Ehm...no.
That is absolutely not right what you've just sad.
Cool
