      Great! I love it. I have 3 or 4 of his book including. Eat to Live and Eat for Life. Worth buying. My only negative comment is that he talks so fast because of his passion for telling us all this info that it hard to understand and retain some of the info. Like the onions. Otherwise it is great. Wonder if there is an easier way to put it in simpler terms such as a picture or a graft. Thanks for all your knowledge and your passion to help people!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

    I’m still pissed off about the misinformation that was fed to my generation. All we heard was “drink three glasses of milk a day” for our entire adolescence. They ran constant ads featuring A-list celebrities, reminding you how wonderful milk was. I have no idea how much damage I did from decades of heavy dairy consumption.

    This is a great interview. I've been recovering from mental and physical illness now for some years. This included obesity. I'm now down to normal weight and feeling great from following the nutritarian path. It's not just a diet but a lifestyle choice that is so much better than the conventional dietary plan. One of the major factors when making the change was realising how certain foods can dominate your thinking. Dr. Fuhrman mentions this. It's not usually covered in most systems. I guess I took the long way around by self examination and exploration. Watching this reiterates and bolsters my technique. Thank you S4G.

    What a great title. I am keen to learn all I can about excellent nutrition and fasting to cure any remaining Endometrial Cancer cells that are supposed to be 'mopped up' by vaginal vault brachytherapy, that I am not looking forward to. At 74 I am doing all I can to reduce/eliminate any comorbiditiy risks. Obviously, I cannot change my age, but I can work on nutrition and exercise and fasting by all the wonderful experts on CZcams. It seems that the Oncology Dietitian I was assigned had no clue or interest in reading up to date scientific papers. During my consultation she told me to eat meat, and eat meals at regular times. Fat chance of my doing either, as I have not eaten meat since I was a child of six and did not know where it came from. Some folk can be more than annoying!

    I like and love Dr. Fuhrman's ideas and efforts. But, I must make this point which is very important. In the developing countries and poor countries, and in the communities where people are doing good amount of physical work, avoiding Grains will be impossible. Grains are must here to give sufficient calorific value. I mean, imagine Vietnam, Thialand, Villages in China, most of India, Bali, Phillipines, etc. without Rice. That will be totally crazy idea. Also, I do not wish to elaborate or discuss, but eating lot of raw onion has its own stories. Study them yourself.

      I’ve even added a small lightly steamed mushroom to my green smoothies! My smoothies are about 20 ounces or so and it was undetectable. If you have a food processor you could cook them and then grind them and store in the freezer by putting them into a freezer bag. Flatten them out in the bag and break off a small chunk and add it to your servings of food. Mix it in and you’ll never know the difference.

    • @kh485

      Try different types and maybe you can learn to enjoy them with the right spices. His book promotes the idea “eat to live”. In other words, eat as though you already have cancer cells in your breasts and prostate (this is true by middle age). The SAD American diet is tempting, addictive and dangerous over time. This is especially true as we age. Age is a risk factor for nearly every chronic disease. We can be willing to do eat a few “earthy”, medicinal plants to optimize health.

    • @kaymatlock6143
      @kaymatlock6143 Před 3 lety +3

      Same here, but just start eating them regardless.You don’t have to do a lot, just a little bit more and more on a regular basis and you’ll develop a taste for them. It doesn’t happen over night.
