If you can't find 10-20-10, you can take 10-10-10 and add some triple-super-phosphate to make a 10-20-10 blend. Triple super phosphate (TSP) is 0-46-0, so if you take a pound of 10-10-10, you add 22% or 3.5 ounces of TSP to the pound of 10-10-10 to get a rough 10-20-10 blend. Mix them well in a container so you get even distribution of the TSP in the 10-10-10 and apply like 10-20-10. Both 10-10-10 and TSP are easy to find if you can't get 10-20-10 locally.

Any good potting mix will work. But it has to be about 50% PEAT… Or more. EarthBoxes need a lot of PEAT in the mix so it will “wick” the water up. So, be sure and look at the PEAT percentage in whatever mix you are considering.

Water isn''t an issue for me --- in the summer we normally get a thunderstorm that you can set your watch by every afternoon, plus I have two wells and a river full of water behind my house. So the next time I order plants I'm definitely gonna get a PAF or two.
I currently have just a single triple crown bush that I bought a year ago as a tiny tissue culture plant -- it's been in a 4 gallon pot for its entire life and is just getting its first flowers. @@animalnoiselabs7114In 2011 I did not have PAF's. They hadn't been developed yet.
      I DID have Primocanes.
But, as far as heat goes... last summer was very hot for several months
The PAFs did OK. Not as good as a normal summer, but pretty good.
