Salam Saira.. If you purchased a property in Malaysia and wanting to install air conditioning, make sure you get the inverter type.. It mildly help on energy consumption as Malaysia can get really hot at times.. And if you're at home, make due you have proper ventilation of air flow through the house to reduce indoor heat.. Aside from that, you have a pleasant stay 😊

Most Muslims are considering to make hijra leave the west UK for good, inshallah. However, many buy their houses also beforehand to move into that's alot easier- possible in the UAE. From their, you can then move to other Muslim countries if you want to once settled in the UAE.
Alot closer to our natural home environment, warm and sunny and spaciousness and of course a good Muslim developed country!

Hi 👋🏼 Saira, don’t forget to ask your neighbour where to find the gas for your stove. Or, find a nearby sundry store for you to buy the gas for the stove cause from your video I saw that the stove you have is not electric ⚡️ stove. Most newer houses are using electric/induction stove. Unless you install the electric/induction stove yourself but if you’re going to be cooking heavily, better keep the gas stove as it is cheaper to buy the gas tank & refill it than to pay fr electricity to fire your stove. The tank usually cost you below RM150 for a start then each time you ran out of us, you just need to call them to swap with a new tank and it is below RM50 each swap. Petronas, Shell and all gas providers would be supplying it to the shops.
One more thing about the gym, usually for those houses like yours, they’ll have their own gym sets at home. You can setup yours in the extra room you have or for my family some setup at the backyard facing the garden outside cause it will be great breathing the fresh air outside while working out. It is also good to have it at home as it is more hygienic. 👍🏼
Hv a happy stay in Malaysia Saira!

    imma foreigner living in 🇲🇾 since 2018.....some basics from my experience;
    1. them locals dislike any form of criticism about them. They just cant handle it. They just cant.
    2. public toilets are hot mess. I avoid them at all cost.
    3. Them locals are not very good in general maintenance. When elevators or escalators break down, no sense of urgency to fix them. The parking barrier at my condo took more than 3 months to get fix.
    4. Local tv stations have too many "panel discussions" but no actions taken. NATO. No Action Talk Only.
    5. The madani govt has the habit of making unannouced policy changes without prior notice. The bureaucracy breaks down all the time cos nobody in the govt agencies know what the sudden change is all about.
    6. PDRM loves to use their position to "make fun and sometimes threaten" foreigners in any given situation bcos they can.
    7. Never expect stellar service by govt officials. In fact, dont expect any service at all.
    8. Online booking or online service in govt websites sucks!!!! They spent so much money yet norhing works properly in online navigation.
    9. Learn to accept these flaws with clenched fists and u should be fine.
    Enjoy your stay in 🇲🇾

If you talk to people from the West aka developed countries they appear to be more intelligent with decent mind capacity. They could be young kids, students, tourists, expats etc. 7/10 would appear to have sound mind capacity. However in less developed countries including South East Asia they appear to be pretty lame with no or little capacity to relate including those that have passed tertiary education. Then you have this group of people who have some exposure overseas or public figures who try to paint a better picture however thats not helping a nation improve and grow.

Are u a promotion agent for Malaysia ? There are ups and downs in any country and when you are in the middle class or upper middle class range normally you wouldn't have much complaints. South East Asia is generally a playground for economically sound westerners especially when your source of income and buying power is more than 5 times the local. You are generally highlighting the positives but there are plenty of negatives as well and your views on certain things might not be accurate. Generally foreigners pay more rent than the locals sometimes double sometimes four times the price. However some people are wise enough to get the best deal. Most people from Western Europe or North America wil find most of South East Asia highly inexpensive and for obvious reasons made their playground or retirement home unless ofcoz they dont like it. I've heard lots of positive comments about Malaysia but i don't think its accurate coz maybe you get the respect bcoz of your status and dont be fooled by smiles coz hypocrisy is worldwide. Generally poor people get bad treatment. Im sure Malaysia also have their fair share of a**hol*s However if you can manage the negatives including government policies maybe things might work. In reality when you scrutinise details I think the system is pretty much screwed up or nonsensical just like elsewhere if not worse.

Uncle roger got slapped in the UK because he looked Asian and was blamed for COVID. I think she feels safer in Malaysia than back in UK. I would too as a minority I guess. Having said that, no country on earth is free from crime. Of course everyone should take precautions to be safe nonetheless.

Can I ask you , only because I am trying to decide where I want to move once I've left the UK, why you didn't choose Pakistan as I am strongly drawn to the idea. Please let me know. Thank you

      We all have our destinations
It’s good to get ideas ..
but we all have different situations
If you have good ties with your relatives in Pakistan then maybe for you , your own home land is better
