    shaving ur face is 100% ur choice and dont feel as if u need to do it bc u saw it on social media 😭😭 it works for some ppl like the gorgeous girl in this video but also doesn’t work for others and can possibly damage ur skin even if you do it right ‼️‼️ always remember to ask a dermatologist or do a spot test before shaving ur entire face just incase it doesn’t work for ur skin

    Guys honestly if you don’t have a lot of facial hair or have facial hair that isn’t noticeable, please don’t do this. It’ll make you break out. Baby hairs are there to protect your skin from sun and harsh chemicals. I understand the need for girls with excess facial hair to shave, but girls please, if your hair is barely noticeable please don’t do this because you will breakout. I did once and I still regret it. Save yourselfs the trouble. Plus 2024 is all about normalising facial hair on women!

      @@elizabethfrancina4606She does not generalize, and everything she said is true. If you have thin or barely visible hair, there is no need to shave it, as it will only break out and grow more. This is what doctors also tell you. It is preferable to remove the facial hair with thread or laser rather than shaving, and why is everyone suitable for it? Also, if the person has rough hair, this is a mistake. He found that shaving will only make matters worse. He prefers going to a doctor and asking her about it. It could be due to a hormonal or genetic defect, so it will only make things worse

    • @chesiresays
      @chesiresays Před 8 měsíci +20

      You shouldn’t Pat dry tho… the water will give you hydration and help the moisturizer penetrate better. Using straight up ice on the skin makes it sensitive which wouldn’t be ideal when your face is already sensitive from shaving. It would also be a great idea to use a toner or essence for extra hydration and healing

    • @memyselfIyk
      @memyselfIyk Před 8 měsíci +19

      @@chesiresays I didn't mean to say that ice should be applied directly. You can always wrap it in a tissue paper and apply. Applying ice doesn't make your skin sensitive. It helps heal the inflammation and closes the open pores from shaving reducing redness. I would recommend doing what feels best on your skin.

    also, sometimes you gotta realize it’s just not for you. your skin could be more sensitive than others. although you’d like to do it, sometimes it could just not be possible. it IS a form of exfoliation, and not everyone can handle that. also, i’d recommend a flat blade, not the ones that have texture on it, as that could make things worse too. with those you don’t really have to go in back and forth motions as you move the blade down your face. you can just hold your skin tight ti have tension, and glide it down ofc w some sort of serum or aloe. and focus on hydration afterwards! and if you are prone to acne, but don’t have an active breakout while shaving, id recommend just not reusing the blade after two-three times and properly sanitizing.

      Try witch hazel. It worked wonders on my skin. I got really, really bad shaving rashes, akne etc. from shaving my face. It's definitely not for everyone!
      Can't stop now because my hair grows back like crazy so that's that.
      What I do is:
      1. Clean my face with a mild cleanser.
      2. Shave. Always use a clean, sharp razor.
      3. Use witch hazel water. Let it dry on my skin.
      4. Use my moisturizer with mint and salicylic acid
      Make sure that your moisturizer and your makeup work for you. It might take time to find out what works for you. I can't use certain products / brands because they make me break out like crazy. But witch hazel really worked like magic for me! You can add rose water to your skin routine too if you want to moisturise more. It works on any skin type as far as I know.
      Good luck! ❤

    Y’all gotta stop shaming people for shaving their face, sometimes it makes people break out, but for other people, it honestly does really help them! Personally I don’t think I would shave my face, but my friend does and it helps with her acne! So please, if you have problems with shaving your face, dont bash on others for it.

    Most people saying “don’t ever shave your face” are probably people who have never tried it… I just tried it on my myself and my mom without using oil and doing all these steps, and neither of us have any irritation.. the skin looks completely normal. We tried it on a small area on the first day (above / around eyebrows). The next day there was no irritation. So then I tried it on my jaw and neck and sideburns area. I’ll update after a few days but so far there is no irritation. I will admit I’m scared to do my cheeks and moustache but eventually I will do it because I normally thread but threading is painful and time taking, and sometimes results in minor cuts/redness/irritation. I think it’s worth it to try the razor if both methods might irritate to some extent.

    I still don't understand why to shave my face, unless the hair is getting thicker and it will have to be shaved again and again. It's good that I didn't do this, because my skin is very sensitive. If the girls like it, that's one thing, but if it's imposed, then not so much.🤷‍♀️

    • @Lucares
      @Lucares Před 9 měsíci +1

      It really depends. I have to shave every day because my hair grows back FAST. And I don't feel comfortable with the feeling of stubbly skin and visible hair on my face.
      Maybe try shaving a not so prominent part of your face if you want to try and see if it's for you. I really regret starting to shave but that's me. It seems to work for other people. ☺️

      Once u start shaving.. it will grow faster and faster so it's best to remain the way you are (if u don't have recognisable hair) or choose any better alternative like waxing or remove hair permanently

      I don’t recommend it, rubbing alcohol sterilizes it really well, if you used anything else, it would probably still contain bacteria, and also it’s just the safest way to clean it so you don’t cut yourself
