This was filmed a short while back as I am behind with my videos 🙂 But did you see me yesterday as I was out and I did go to Consett ? You should have come over and said hello its always good to have a chat.
great ride out... once on the brandon line (near scripton lane / brandon section) 4 gravel bikers were cycling towards me (2x2 formation) and they weren't going to move or slow down for anyone, and the track isn't that wide along there either..! and down on the liner towards bishop auckland a guy threw a ball towards me for his dog to chase, and he would have soon shouted at me if the dog got accidently hit!
I'm off to the lakes tomorrow (monday) for a week with a couple of mates - walking and drinking, hope the weather stays dry...rented a house near windemere.. :)
Yes I have had that to when other cyclists don't want to move behind each other as they are talking. Just yesterday when I was out two did exactly that but to be fair it was on a bit of a bend and he did apologise. But a few days back a school party of about 30 junior school kids were out with their teachers on the lines and it was a very long straight section and I saw them looking at me coming towards them so thought they would move over by the time I was close. But no I had to come to a near stop in front and ask them which side they were going to walk on 🤔 what's that about.... . Have good time away the lakes are a lovely place. We are heading up there soon to to family who live there
@@JohnonaBike yes, love the lakes... know my german mate 30 years in september as it turns out..! last few years i rented a house in the lakes, was caldbeck 2 years ago, and grasmere last year...nice just to get away from everything :)
Yes I agree Katie and I love to rent a cottage usually down south somewhere as the weather is normally better.... Hopefully we will have the good fortune again this year of great weather like other years. This week the weather is set to get a LOT better so hope you have a good one 😁👍
Wow 50 miles I only could do 3 miles 27 minutes and I was shattered😂
It's just what you get used to. My wife Katie could only do a mile now she is doing 30 👍
