You folks give an old man like me hope for the future. Good seeing young folks actually working. Great job! Cheers!
Hello all
Hello everybody 👋🏻☕️☕️👍🏼🇺🇸
Thank God the sun was shining! I never mind snow as long as it's bright and sunny the next day.
I have said it before, and I say it again, The Bossman is surly one lucky guy to have such a competent and energetic team on his side, Greetings from a warm South Africa,
Its so refreshing to see young people willing to exercise and work hard on a daily basis. With the obesity rates and overall poor health in this Country, your family is almost a throwback to better times. I admire you.
Thanks!
that explains why today's Short was a firewood bundling video...
Thanks Boss Lady for looking out for the girl's coffee needs ☕
Wow! So weird to see young people laboring away in such a way anymore. Brings a tear to my eye.
👍 yep, sadly most kids today are frightened of sweat 😅
@@michaelnash9970 and the more you give em the more they want. a vicious cycle that is hard to appreciate if you have no idea what work is. the harder the work is the smarter one becomes to find better ways to do a task. hands up and helping hands make good. the adage give a person a fish the person gets food for a day yet teach the person to fish they eat for a lifetime. i prefer helping hands over giving a hand out without a person doing any work and i do understand there rare circumstances beyond our control that a helping hand of money is the only option without physical helping hands.
when i extend a helping hand with money, and they only want the money. the money slides back into my helping hand and away i go to a different situation.
Your environment must be weak
@@mrwaterschoot5617 absolutely 👍
help people with circumstances.... Not help people with.....
..... consequences 🤨
OHIO is a circumstance....😮
New York, San Francisco, L.A. Seattle and Chicago are consequences... 🤨
@@mrwaterschoot5617 getting more to the Subject of the video.... If this company's building burnt down... I'd be one of the first to donate and even drive out to help rebuild. This is a FAMILY THAT'S ALL IN..... (even Grandpa) ... 😆 LOL
Nice Work You All Please Stay Warm and Dry .
We have a wood stove with a flat top. Making coffee with no power is just a kettle to boil water and a filter cone to make drip coffee or a French Press for small amounts. We also found an antique coffee grinder, so fresh ground beans are easy. If you need really large amounts of coffee, use one of the old style porcelain coffee pots and make cowboy coffee.
I met him at the log yard. He carried a knife and chain saw sharpener. It was love at first sight!
Always keep spirit my friend 🙏👍❤️❤️❤️
Hope the weather holds up for you. Here in California we're looking at an atmospheric river heading straight for central Ca. by the weekend. So say the weather soothsayers.
Nice to see your hand is bett
That snow looks just wet enough to be a real pain! We got 5 or 6" of wet snow overnight on Friday. Fortunately, the temps got up into the 40's each day, and I didn't need to go anywhere, so I just let it melt. It took a few days. I hope they restored your power in a timely fashion!
70's and sunshine today... Much needed for clean up after the wind and Tornadoes last week here in Alabama 😎
Snow and sunglasses love the contrast.
the reflection from the snow is bad for the eyes, long term.
Love the myriad of tasks available when there is any unexpected downtime! Especially love that you don't need any electricity to complete them. You will be ready for the CME (Coronal Mass Ejection) when it comes! Just hope that the local Starbucks has a generator.
just a fyi the log yard is not connected to the grid. not long ago they built a solar kiln and grandpa installed solar panels for some lighting and other uses. to supplement the solar they setup a wood stove to add more drying capacity to the kiln and a place to warm up on cold days. they have their own generator when necessary.
they are quite resourceful and the operations are getting better with time. they are willing to share the good and the not so good and the ugly. it has not been an easy road. and they take challenges and work them out as a tight family unit. thumbs up to them.
was does not kill them makes them stronger. so an occasional trip to star bucks is a treat for a job well done.
Really beautiful, the blue sky and the snow. I suppose in years past you have had a lot more snow. Sorry about your power. I love to see the fam working together.
Great content. I gladly we don't get that much snow in a year . Then you're in a day. Stay warm, and keep the good work up. Your lady's showing ladies can do a man's job
May I suggest getting a leaf blower for the light snow. I'm a flatbed driver and I use one to clear of the trailer deck. Saves a lot of shoveling.
Tip for the day.. Stove top percolator on a gas stove... We loose power often and I have 3 neighbors that bring their thermos' over in the morning...
I was mesmerised watching you guys moving the snow, I've never seen snow in my life, it doesn't snow here in Western Australia.
Dad makes it in his truck 😂
I got mine right here, cheers☕
Nice you have the snow blower, sorry got clogged. That wet stuff jams them up after mixing a couple of rows. If you feel it clogging shut off and use the wand to clean the shute.
A plow or blade would work. The make them for side by sides. 👍👍👍
Not one snowball thrown ! If Sammy would have been their it would have been different 😊
stay warm
I shoveled snow today too! Yea ha, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right?!!??
That was quite a day. Snow removal is not easy. Then you all bundled that wood. So what I'm thinking is a dip in the creek would be awesome on all of your muscles 💪. However, at the end, Emerald looked like she was freezing with that wind. So maybe not. Lol 😂
Peace and Ahev
At least it's sunny out now while you're shooting this video. One thing is for sure. You to ladies and your family aren't afraid of manual labor which is great cardio and healthy. Snow or no snow the log yard show must go on!
Happy Womans Day!
We had 79 degrees the other day. No snow here in Northern AL.
Awesome visit!
Glad to see you have proper shovels!
So many people have open sided flat shovels. You know, the ones you load up and half the snow falls off when you pick it up! 😂
Wasted effort!
Don't push your Snowblower, let it do the work. When it is the light fluffy kind, try a Leaf Blower (corded, not battery). Big Pole Barn in the Future?
Wow that was a LOT of work !!!
The Rapid SF 104 snow blower that I installed once would have catapulted the snow to the other side of the road. The thing had a completely different performance. Sweaty hard teamwork today at the Lumber Capital Log Yard - respect. Women who can work are not only attractive and cool - we men love this quality in a woman. 🙃
Haha. When I was growing up in rural PA, we had a 96 foot driveway. My brother and I with shovels were the snow removal equipment. Yikes, that was some back-breaking work when the snow was heavy like yours. Tremendous job on the video and thanks for evoking memories of my misspent youth. Hey your "shorts" strategy has caused a nice bump in subs. On pace for 200k in 2023. Keep on and hope it keeps ramping up!
I see you had a Nova Scotia style snow fall dry in the morning and wet and sticky by noon . I've been liking all the short or mini commercials you have been making . Keep up the good work ladies 👍and I'll see you all in the next one.
Almost finished
The snow
We are Almost there
Wow awesome 💪
You pretty ladies are good workers I love it 💞
lol I just love how you say log yard
Have a suggestion on cleaning off the wood piles. Look into investing in 2 power shovels. There like single stage snowblowers on a shovel Handle. Would save u quite a bit of time
Those aviator style shades are just the ticket for working a sunny day snow cleanup. Sun on snow = lots of eyestrain. Great job on keeping the log yard slop free.
Just the way I like seeing snow, on CZcams from Georgia. 😊 Stay warm, stay safe.
Those are nice chunks of firewood in those bundles.
Emerald awhile back you did a video on making a firewood delivery and on your way back you stopped at a gas station to try to get their account to sell your fire wood bundles, did that ever come through for you?
Yes, they did!
@@lumbercapitallogyard GREAT!!!!! Emeralds first business transaction!!!!!!
Oh the old pond dried lumber...
For lite snow a leaf blower works great !
Looks like the sun has finished your job and starting to dry the work site.
I like the way you ladies make things happen
I learned that if it's light and fluffy I use A backpack
Have a great day stay safe
Great job team..like a wise old man once said: " Many hands...makes for light work"! And that is so true!!
..... good job everybody!!
🥶👍🧙♂️🐺👍🥶
Good work and looking lovely
love those sunglasses EM definitely fashionable
Some of the loggers are already pulling out of the woods with their heavy machinery while they can. Spring is coming.
Ur videos mostly make my day. I watch them at the breakfast. Because when they get uploaded it's morning in Germany. Stay safe with the snow.
great work team !
Proud of your boss, got the warm cab before you 😂😂😂😂
I was cold just watching !
Have to do something about the no power, no coffee situation. That could lead to trouble. Actually it would be fun to watch you make some off grid coffee. Besides, it is the core of functionality for most businesses. Awesome videos. We learn a lot. Thanks.
It would also save them a lot of money to find a solution. Starbucks is an expensive way to get coffee.
Coleman makes a coffee maker that only needs a stove top to make coffee. Mines been working well for 20 years.👍🙂
Great team effort don't forget to update us on the power status at your house. This video was so relaxing I'm proper chilled out!!!!! It must be in watching someone else work!!
Nice pretty blue sky and I love you guys work ethic nothing in the world wrong with hard work but that snow I don't know I guess that's why I live in the south LOL 😆😋😁😉🐝
I bet Judah is glad the power is out. No school! but you ladies made quick work of that fluffy stuff. Thanks for sharing your day and keep up the great work and have a great evening! TTFN
juda is home schooled. i am surprised the boss and the girls did not draft him to help. but being the youngest he might have been busy making snowballs or snow forts.
grand pa must be hiding in the kiln or visiting florida.
@@mrwaterschoot5617 I am not saying its the case here but I have learned that she doesnt show everybody that works, but it doesnt mean they arent working.
Also, the mother seemed to be running around town and the house being a good mother and making sure everybody else has the strength to keep working :)
So the son may have been helping her with that. After all, coffee for 4+, food for 5, and so on can be much easier to manage as a 2 person job.
@@mrwaterschoot5617 legal working age is 14 in pa
@@jesuschristismylord4043 - Doubt that applies to family...I was driving large tractors cutting/raking/bailing hay when I was 11.
@@Snarkapotamus 11 is still pretty young to actually work daily for hours, he has his whole life to work I’m sure he still has his free time
M you are awesome. Your dad is going to be hurting if you leave.
Light & fluffy!!!!!!! Holy crap....remind me to never shake hands or arm wrestle you!!!!!! Down here in Hughesville, it's so wet & heavy you hit with a snowball outa THIS stuff, and the word 'stitches' is gonna be in the conversation!!!
I've learned a few things after living in lower Michigan for 45 years about snow. When it's wet it's very heavy as this snow was for you. So, rather than use a snow blower which I see you struggle to push, make wider aisles for a smaller tractor. My snow mover is a 4 WD Steiner 430 Max articulated with a 4 ft scoop bucket or a 5 ft blade that angles. Then tarp the wood piles rather than try to shovel in between all the separate boards. I would also raise up th stacks on cement blocks with wood cross supports to make them at an easier height to deal with rather than bending over for every task. Three supports make a plane you can build on for most lengths of lumber, if not go with 4 . Blocks are really cheap. You ladies work your tails off and I appreciate all you do!
Wow ... I fell in love
Lovely way to start the day to play in the snow, Thanks for the amzing video
I've always enjoyed shoveling snow.
Good Job!
propane stove and old fashioned perkalator coffee pot, or, all that firewood. HMM there a thought. !!LOL
poor girls only the snow we missed, you make me very tender the whole family, I send you a big hug from Rome hello and be careful dear kisses,,
Thanks for the video, Emerald that snow looked mighty heavy to me. Awesome work you all did today to clear it away, Have a great rest of your week!
Good job
Loved the sun glasses. Five star
Like the rock....good to ya!
Girls ..
We have 2- of snow here in New York.
Right on......
Good work!!!
Bundling the wood or our hearts not sure which you do best. Awesome work and glad to see the work ethic in the family just incredible and working together one path one goal real family sadly those timeless things are lost in the world these days. So jealous but appreciative you share your family with us who are without ❤❤❤❤❤
Great video. Your firewood bundles look awesome. So glad to see your right arm/hand fully healed up. The woodyard is looking amazing.
Nice work
So. I noticed Boss Man in a covered heated cab? Love your girl work
Strange we got as much snow yesterday as you did it was the first and hopefully last of the year greetings from southern Sweden
Best thing for moving snow is an aluminum demolition shovel
everyone is going to have an idea. Cover the logs / boards cut / waiting when you hear of snow . Yes tarps are costly , go to lumber yards ( factory government stamped wood) , the tarp covering the lifts when shipped usually get rolled and trashed. In my area they have a bin with a sign FREE TARPS . these are free and may help clearing off the needed stack of wood.
That snow looks a bit heavy for my trick.....but if you get to the yard early enough and the snow is really fluffy you should use your blower to clear off the lumber at least....excellent content BTW.
I have been through 100-year snowstorm events in DC, Chicago, and the Santa Cruz mountains in California. DC's storm was about a foot and a half of snow. Chicago's was three feet. Santa Cruz got about four inches. That four inches took out my power for a week.
Finally got some snow, yay! Easy on the coffee. It'll turn your hair white like mine.
Brings alot of work but so beautiful from a fl. boy
Yeah.. i enjoyed. i like watching Jade shoveling.. she's cute when she works 😍.
That's a lot snow, i like seeing snow because i'm from tropical country here is not snow
Stilh makes a nice power broom might work for snow on the wood piles are crews will use them on sidewalks at least for snow under 6” makes quick work
Someone needs to teach these girls how to make cowboy coffee!
👍 keep up the great work
Jade is always on task . Very serious.
Mate....... Jade always looks like she rather be somewhere else. Keep up the good work ladies..... 😂🤣😎🇦🇺👌
@@rodmills4071 She is stoic in every video. Just has a serious face. Hard to get her to smile. I bet she is like her mother, needs to relax before she can smile, while Emerald is more passionate about things so will smile easier.
In fact, its pretty common for people to jump for joy when Jade does smile in a video lol
Incredible! No power and you still put out a video. You are unstoppable!
Hi Emerald wow girls all this snow my dream is to meet snow such a nice day show more snow in your videos Emerald
