I like the 2 set Bible commentaries. Having multiple resources from different scholars so that my discernment "gets better" along with gaining more Bible knowledge. I found myself investing in more commentaries, sorta building a library of references rather than collecting Bibles. It's like doing a self taught seminary student.
I've read the Bible in a year and was trying to get through rather than reading for understanding. I went through the Bible Re Cap and just took my time. It took me about a year and 9 months but boy I understood it so much better. I am thinking in January next year I may go through it again because I am sure there is more stuff I missed. God's word is powerful. I have recently started listening to Heart Dive with Kanoe and I am enjoying it.
That's so good to hear!
I am in my third year of following The Bible Recap reading plan and I'm still finding new nuggets in each day's reading. I can't wait for my grandkids to get a little older so that we can use the kids' guide. :o)
That's a great idea!
This is my fourth year reading the Bible through witn this plan. I have learned so much. I also watch her yt channel every morning after i finish my reading.
By the way, i just found your yt channel and i have subscribed. Thanks!
That's amazing! I haven't watched the CZcams channel yet, though. And thank you so much for subscribing!
i love this Bible Recap resources...Ive been doing the bible reading with Heart Dive with Kanoe Gibson now for two years with her. Every year i learn something new.
That's so good to hear! I know in 2023 she used The Bible Recap. Did she make her own plan for 2024?
@@wendycoop she is more organized now and has a pod cast and more people helping her with the FB page. I have learned so much with her
@@lillianlugo6244 Good deal!
This review was amazing!! Thank you for showing us the study guide too. Last year I did a read through of my Jesus Bible. I just read...some highlighting, no notes. I took the bible book by book...skipped around until I had completed all 66 books😂. This year I wanted to do a chronological study and found bible recap. I am now on day 228 and am enjoying my time spent in His word!! I love her recaps and God shots, showing me God and His heart for me💜 in each days reading. I am filling my bible with notes! Thanks again for such a thorough review! I'm going to look into the study guide for next year😁.
I'm glad the review was helpful!
I'm currently doing a one-year study with 'Heart Dive with Kanoe' on CZcams. She posts daily and does it in chronological order too, but it's a little different order from the Bible Recap plan. Again, if you miss a day, just pick up where you left off. I'm enjoying it.
That's awesome!
Thanks for this review! After watching this video, I subscribed to your channel and ordered this book. I'm very excited to receive it.
Oh wow! Thank you so much! I think it’s a great set of resources and look forward to using them myself.
I have always read the bible from genesis through revelation (5 times 😁). I really want to start this chronological bible reading plan, I think it'll help me understand the bible much better.
One year's plan sounds good because I once read the whole bible in 30 days and did not bother to dig deeper. I would definitely want to try this!!
Thank you for sharing ❤
You read the whole Bible in 30 days?! Wow! I could see how there wasn’t too much of an opportunity for deeper learning. As for this study, do you think you’ll pick up the study guide as well?
This my fourth time completely reading the Bible. I am following the chronological plan with heart dive which uses a one year plan. I supplement it with reading several different versions of the Bible. This is the first time that. I feel that I have a better understanding of what I am reding
Me too… love Kanoe and Holly💕
That's so good to hear!
Thank You. I have been doing this via You Verse. I kept saying that I don’t need the physical books. 😮 Well I was wrong. I just ordered all three. So happy to have found your channel.
I am so glad you found it helpful! I like having physical books around - especially for seminary - even though they give us the electronic versions.
I’m using this reading plan
Yay!!! How are you finding it? Are you using the journal or study guide?
Thanks for sharing these resources!
My pleasure!
@@wendycoop I’m getting the green Bible Recap book and the workbook today. Do you suggest I start at the beginning or catch up to where they are at (on CZcams, You Version app, etc)?
@@Jodie_M Yay! My you can do either one. There are no dates in the book so your day 1 can be any day you choose!
I’m in my fifth year of reading the Bible through in a year. This year I’m doing the Bible Recap…I like the chronological order that it’s set up. One major part I’ve like is that when you read through David’s life than the Psalms are interspersed with that time period. Or with Solomon there is the Proverbs. Personally I wouldn’t purchase anything and just use the plan on YouVersion. I bought the study book but I prefer to study using a similar version that you use with the SOAP. So some of the questions I was like 🤔. Also just personal preference but I don’t like Tara Cobbles voice.
As always your video is lovely!! Thank you for all of the time your are investing to share great content
I hadn't listened to the podcast yet so I wasn't sure if I would like listening to her, but I'll keep your assessment in mind. Thank you for sharing your experiences!

I personally do my study in a 2 year reading as I get a bit overwhelmed and feel rushed to do this in one year. God bless you, sister 💙🙏
PS- I do have the Study Guide. I've read through the Bible once on my own but not chronologically.
Thank you for the resources! I have a friend who would definitely be interested in the ASL group. Thank you so much!
@@wendycoop you're very welcome, sister.
I am one of the folks who read through the Bible in 30 days - it was an undertaking! A lot of reading, and obviously not a deep dive into the text, but just a read-through. Generally, I am not keen on Bible plans because they skip around so much, and I like to do a deep dive into one book at a time. One Bible study resource that is a reading plan and that I do like is "Search the Scriptures" by Stibbs. This is a paperback book that has three or four study questions at the end of each day's assigned reading and is designed for use with your Bible. The questions are pretty good for deeper reflection on the passages read.
That sounds like a HUGE undertaking! Oh my goodness! I've never heard of that resource, thank you for sharing.
Hi Wendy, I have the dark little blue book and I love it, it’s great resource.
Awesome! Thanks for letting me know!
Good morning! Awesome video. All these books you provided links for are on SALE! Great prices!!!!
Oh I love a good sale!
I love the Bible tools for Bible study
They seem to be very good!
