Unveiling the Mysteries of the Marble Mountains in Da Nang 🇻🇳 Vietnam

What a privilege it was for us to visit the Marble Mountains in Da Nang. This was an attraction we were looking forward to visiting when we booked our time in Da Nang, but we were not expecting such a fun and enjoyable day. While it's a tourist-heavy attraction, it's a nice balance of soothing and calm, especially if you arrive early and hike to some of the higher elevation peaks. The temples and shrines were awe inspiring. It can be hot, and you will work up a sweat climbing all of the stairs so make sure to bring a hat, sunscreen, and some money for water. Prices for water and refreshments were very reasonable.

Thank you so much for watching and for leaving a comment. Most people pass through Da Nang on their way to Hoi An. It’s worth spending a couple of days to visit the Marble Mountains and a few of the other sites. We will be posting a video specifically about Da Nang in a few weeks.

We have three of those elements back in the 60's and 70's in the States: Earth, Wind & Fire. That dragon has been around.

Hi Mike! It's interesting how these ancient concepts work their way in to our daily lives. The dragon is even more pronounced this year since it is the year of the dragon. From what we learned the celebration in Vietnam (Tet) is their biggest holiday so we probably should have extended our stay to experience it. However, we typically plan and book our travel months in advance, so it wasn't logistically possible change plans.

Hi! Thanks for watching our video and commenting. The Marble Mountains are amazing. We did not go to the lower cave near the entrance as there was an extra charge and we were also quite tired from walking through the mountain all day. Plus, it was very, very hot 🥵 Depending on the cave, we may not have included it in the video. Our camera is not very good in dark places which limited the footage we could get inside the caves. Sometimes is better to just put down the camera and enjoy the place you are visiting. There was such a great energy that we had to take some time to just sit and enjoy the surroundings.
