  • A high school football game Friday night in Long Beach, California, turned violent after a player from Milikan High was seen kicking a Lakewood High player -- whose helmet had come off -- in the head. After the game, the family of a Lakewood player allegedly pushed past security into the Milikan locker room and attacked some of those players. Erica Nochlin of CBS Los Angeles reports.

My daughter played AAU basketball she throw 1 punch and that was the first tournament she played in a girl slapped her and she punched her both got tossed out and had to set out the next game plus the coach made her not start for 2 more games after that all I heard for 2 weeks is she hit me first after than next girl that hit her she just smiled

Our school was bigger and it only graduated about 110 every year. They would park at least 3 ambulances at the games. There would be broken bones every time we played. Arms, collar bones, legs, ribs. I have hardly ever had good people on the other team or good refs. I have gotten beat up in football by a kid who probably weighed 400 or 500 pounds. And was like 6 foot 7. And I’m 130 pounds and 6 foot 1. And nobody called it. That kid should’ve been punished.

It’s ridiculous . My son (9) plays youth football and it’s mind blowing how some of the players and coaches too talk and act . Iv seen coach’s shame players that arnt as good as some . I hate to say it but they need to add qualifications (such as , grades , attendance, behavior, file that’s carried with them thru out playing sports etc ) to be eligible to play. Such doing as what this player pulled sld be a automatic flag to leave the field immediately . Multiple hrs of community service and possibly a yearly suspension from all sports.
They wld definitely think twice before being ignorant.
