In my own opinion i think the hasbro stadium makes stamina-based battles a lot more interesting, while it makes attack type vs attack type battles a bit less fun because of how quick a match can end. Id love to see how the meta compares and contrasts between both stadiums honestly

I do agree personally when's an attack type is introduced into the battle it can feel like it's a little too strong at times especially if it's an attack V attack it's over usually in a couple of hits.
But stamina / Defense battles are far more interesting with the actual recoil mechanics of the fence types feeling like they've been buffed quite a bit as well as stamina types being easier to knock out so it's really a hard choice for me personally as I believe that almost everything except for the length of battles are involved. It's kind of better than the Hasbro version. But seeing how attack types are both usually the most popular and or pushed type from an obvious point of salimg people om something cool. It does bring down the Hasbro stadium quite a bit.

I've just participated in a local Beyblade X tournament using Hasbro's stadiums... Attack type had grater chance to beat Stamina type. Also when xtreme finish happens, beyblades don't fly out of the stadium which is great to avoid damage when they are still spinning and land on concrete or rugged surfaces. I really liked Hasbro's stadium because makes you to rethink your strategies and beyblade lineups. 👍

To me, the contrast between the Takara Xtreme Stadium and the Hasbro Xtreme Stadium comes across in a way very similar to back in the day with the Heavy Metal System: Takara's Tornado Balance Stadium and the later Tornado Balance Type-S Stadium. The bigger original was pretty good unless you had like a Stamina battle (battle of attrition) or Attack vs. Stamina (Attack would almost always lose), whereas the smaller TBTS made it so that Attack types actually stood a legit chance to beat Stamina types...like they're supposed to.
As a Hasbro release, this has gotta be their *BEST* stadium they've put out since their Mobile Beystadium from the Plastic Era, specifically 21 years ago in 2003 during Beyblade V-Force. I know that I've gone on before about how much I enjoyed that thing. It's okayish for Plastic (probably best for like Four Layer System and S Series when Attack Rings were pretty small), it's absolutely great for HMS & Metal Fight, and it's okayish for Burst (the smaller Single & Double Layer stuff works best).

So now after being able to play in the Hasbro Stadium here are my following thoughts.
I do personally feel that the competitive player will probably lean more towards the TT stadium. For the reason of feeling like they're in more control of the game. While more casual players and most likely kids will probably prefer the Hasbro stadium with its high octane action, and honestly I hybrid between the two stadiums to me would be the best x stadium. Given the current state of X Beyblade design.
However my biggest worry about the TT Stadium . Can be exemplified with wizard rod. As it really is going to be I believe the basis for future stamina base design. And as we go into the future I do believe the rebound of the pockets in the TT stadium will hurt the game balance as the eventual stamina design power level increases. However, so many I believe wins that should have been in favor of the opposing Bey went to wizard Rod by it just simply bouncing out.
Now of course X's resign has already gone into a very good effort to try to mitigate this stamina power creep already straight from the start that we've seen in both Burst and Metal Fight. However as we also see with wizard Rod is that by just simply adding a higher stamina based bit that is not actually a standard bit, you can get the higher burst resistance anyways. This means that you can really downplay the downsides of stay in the types that were built in. Of course, you know this isn't the say that wizard rods some unbeatable boogie man right now but I do think it is a worrying potential sign.
Which is something that having a smaller stadium can solve, but even then the hasbro stadium is a bit to small.
I do legitimately think that if you were to take the difference between the Hasbro and TT Stadium. And just go with the in between measurement between those two distances so you can still have a smaller one than the TT Stadium but bigger than the Hasbro stadium with the Hasbro pockets. You would literally have the best compromise from my personal opinion.
But also an additional thing that I think will help push the Hasbro stadium is for more casual people the fact that yeah just about anything is viable and the Hasbro stadium and so your favorite blades even if they're kind of crap still have a chance of winning.
And it's 40s reasons that since while I am very much showing that keeps in tune with the competitive play of Beyblade X I kind of slightly prefer the Hasbro Stadium more but that being said I do still kind of wish to has Rose Stadium was just like an inch bigger on both sides.
As well I do legitly think that stamina and the fence battles are far more entertaining in the Hasbro Stadium anytime they attack type gets introduced it does feel like it's a bit much lot of the time but not all of the time but it's another thing that could potentially as a tag type design evolves in the future become more of a problem.
But one neat thing is that technically defense gets both buffed and nerfed in the Hasbro Stadium. As well as attack types do you have an easier time knocking them out due to the recoil design of the fence types means that they're more likely to actually get the recoils off and I did find that defense types personally had easier times knocking out the opposing Bey.
But at the end of the day it really is which pros and cons are you willing to live with and I think that they are pretty equal in their amount of pros and cons and do a similar enough but also on a very technical level different enough gameplay style that I think that you can't really go wrong with either one.

Hasbro stadium should be looked at to be like the gateway into the Takara Stadium/Experience.
“However my biggest worry about the TT Stadium . Can be exemplified with wizard rod. As it really is going to be I believe the basis for future stamina base design. You need one of two things, the meta to develop a bit more and also a release to counter the shape, historically certain things can dominate but once a single release comes out can completely shake it. Long term it is true that the rebound could be pretty negative but we await to see.
“Which is something that having a smaller stadium can solve, but even then the hasbro stadium is a bit to small.”
Both that and consider this, a smaller size stadium does not mean more balanced gameplay, some have made this idea very ignorantly saying “Hasbro is better than Takara COMPETITIVELY” which is pretty brash to say all because of the perception of Wizard Rod not understanding the meta (not you). The smaller area of play the more bias it will be to an attack type since there is no room for other types to travel.
“I do legitimately think that if you were to take the difference between the Hasbro and TT Stadium. And just go with the in between measurement between those two distances so you can still have a smaller one than the TT Stadium but bigger than the Hasbro stadium with the Hasbro pockets. 100%
“But also an additional thing that I think will help push the Hasbro stadium is for more casual people the fact that yeah just about anything is viable and the Hasbro stadium and so your favorite blades even if they're kind of crap still have a chance of winning.”
Consider this, shitty stuff having more of a chance to win is just because of attack not necessarily if you run them on any other combo they have as good as chance necessarily. I may change this stance later but I don’t believe that is true game balance like the plastic generation.
‘And it's 40s reasons that since while I am very much showing that keeps in tune with the competitive play of Beyblade X I kind of slightly prefer the Hasbro Stadium more but that being said I do still kind of wish to has Rose Stadium was just like an inch bigger on both sides. The pros of the stadiums are also the strongest comes for the interaction, the type interaction I feel is SIMILAR but not as good to me for balance. Keep in mind aside from Wizard Rod on Ball we weren’t really struggle for bad meta in Beyblade X.
“But at the end of the day it really is which pros and cons are you willing to live with and I think that they are pretty equal in their amount of pros and cons and do a similar enough but also on a very technical level different enough gameplay style that I think that you can't really go wrong with either one.”
Well if you can afford Takara you should in my recommendation get Takara, the more so point argued in the video is that it is good for the adaption, and good for the Hasbro only people who wanted a good stadium adaption. I think the stadium gives a slightly warped perspective because of the one change to the pockets. I think it is fine but I also would likely not like playing in it, the interaction with other bits like Rush and how Point works I am not really looking forward to but time will tell of course.

Then the TT Stadium will be the Standard Stadium and the new larger stadium thats coming out can be considered the Tournament Stadium. We will not consider thr bucket for anything.

ive noticed that my hasbro stadium's plastic is slightly more grippy. it was most noticeable on bits like rush and taper that got to moving around a lot sooner after launch. haven't talked to anyone else who has one, idk if its only bc its fresh.

    • @KalebDaubMooshra
      @KalebDaubMooshra Před měsícem +2

Yes it definitely is feel like a bit more grippy especially fresh I've done a few hundred battles now in the stadium just between light launches hard launches all the different types, and it does feel a little less grippy when you use it. But I did notice myself that the plastic felt a bit different.
This could also be potentially to try to counteract the fact that it is a smaller Stadium. So their is a slight more resistance. But could also just be a coincidence.

Also a thought i had is when the first left spin bey gets released entry launchers might be a short term meta due to spin steal(obviously this wont last too long as more left spins get released and the odds of getting matched up with another left spin bey goes up)

My Hasbro Beyblade X stadium came with two gouges in the center. It was made in Vietnam, it’s missing its date code and Hasbro declined my manufacturing defect claim because I purchased it new off eBay. In my first contact I said “I purchased this through a 3rd party retailer”. They asked for about 10 pieces of info (including my Phone number and Address) just to deny my claim for being purchased through a third party on Amazon (again I got it on eBay)? And voiding the manufacturers warranty. They hella wasted my time even though I disclosed 3rd party seller in my first contact. Not buying anymore Hasbro, sticking to TT only 😅

I dont mind them having to change it for shelf stocking purposes but it’s sad the main gimmick of the generation isn’t done right on the hasbro version of the stadium, even making it more wide as opposed to stretching it out vertically would’ve worked imo
