I just discovered your site for meal planning and I’m STUNNED! It makes it so easy to track calorie intake daily and find recipes my kids will eat that don’t come from a box! I HAVE NOT SHUT UP ABOUT IT ALL DAY!
This made my day! I’m so glad you’re finding Healthy Meal Plans helpful 🥰
Thank you for listing the ingredients as you demonstrate how to make it. I’m a visual learner. I really appreciate it.
These were delicious! As an alternative taste, I added some lemon juice to the mix, and then rolled them in toasted sesame seeds instead of coconut.
Hi Everyone. There is a small error in the onscreen measurements in the video. The recipe calls for 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg, not 1/8 cup. You can find the full recipe linked below!

Ooo these look incredible! I've never had an energy bite. My toddler is obsessed with nutrigrain bars and I'm looking for a healthier alternative. Thanks!

Perfect car travel snack. Thank you
Love your recipe
This looks so good, could I use raisins instead of dates?
I'm thinking of the same, wondering if i can use a bit less raisins as well.
Yummy 😊
I will try tomorrow
I have to make these, they look so yummy!!! Do you soak the dates first? I only have a blender and wonder if soaking will help the dates to blend better. 😊
Hi! Yes, you can soak the dates. It may help them blend better 😊
Thanks for sharing 🥕🥕🥕🥕🥰
These look delicious. What else would you suggest to roll them in if one does not prefer coconut?
Cocoa powder might be good.
Yummy
I will try this
Great snacks…….❤
Thank you.
Thank you very much I was just looking for this type of recipe to take my lunch to work! as always easy to follow recipes 😊😊
Perfect timing!!! These are such a great snack to bring to work! Enjoy!
Thank you so much I hope you have a good Easter with your family
OH MY GOD THESE ARE SO EASY, so gonna make them over the weekend
whats makes them energy bites?
Oh my goodness… I finally got around to making these. So good!!! Didn’t even last a day in my house ( I do have 4 kids). Next weekend, double batch for meal prep 😊
Question, if you cannot stand coconut flakes, is there another ingredient that can be used inside the energy ball to achieve the right texture?
I’d like to know as well whether there is a substitute for coconut flakes. Can’t stand them either
I was wondering if you could use oats instead of the coconur
hahaha, love it!!! I'm also making Almond Joy bites
Amazing
I need to make these I love carrot cake thanks for sharing this recipe with us ❤❤❤
Oh that’s genius. Going to make these. For sure.
More energy bites and healthy butter free popcorn recipes please.🙏
Do you think I could substitute agave for dates? If yes, how much? Thank you.
Unfortunately, I don’t think agave would give you the right texture. It would probably be too much liquid. You really need the stickiness of the dates to hold the balls together.
@@thedomesticgeek1 thank you for taking the time to reply!! OK, my son gets a itchy throat from dates so I thought I would ask. Thank you again I hope you have a nice Easter.
@@donig7337 Maybe you could use prunes or raisins? I use prunes in my carrot cake.
These look delicious 🤤 I was curious what is a good food processor & or high powered blender to get? Also, at the end it says 1/8 cup of ground nutmeg, is that supposed to be teaspoon or no?
Amazing, you make it look so easy
Any alternative to Oatmeal? My husband loves carrot cake. Trying to do ‘ketoish’ meals. The dates are necessary fir binding, so replacing oatmeal would help some.
Great, now I need to buy a food processor. Lol. These look awesome.
Can you freeze them?
Can we also add orange zest?😁
Great idea!
😋
Simply beautiful as always, Sara Lynn.
Thanks so much!
Very interesting indeed. Thanks, Sarah for this delicious and nutritious recipe.
Mam saw this video now by chance and liked it very much but one small tip kindly add a pinch of salt and cardamom and see the difference in taste try it once thanks god bless you and your family love from India
Cardamom is an awesome idea! Love it
❤
Sounds great!
I'm missing your Print-Recipe. 😟
Can u tell us the calories and per ball or whole batch
152 😊
In keeping with the Easter spirit you are using carrots at least the bunny will not be feel left out😂, but seriously what an amazing wholesome treat idea. Just one question however, do I need to refrigerate them ? Happy Easter. Thanks for sharing.
Hi! Yes, I prefer to refrigerate them because they last longer. It’s probably not necessary but I think it’s a good idea
Yum! Definitely trying these. I love carrot cake. Also, thanks for sharing about your website!! Excited to plan away 💛
Hey Sara, got to put the recipe on here. Cuz I want to make these so I'm going to rewatch the video and hopefully give out the the measurements.

Mmm they look so good, i will make them soon. And your longer hair looks nice 😊
1:56 while pecans are delicious, they are also one of the highest calorie things you can eat (beaten only by macadamia nuts). They are so calorie dense that covering pecans in chocolate actually makes them a lower calorie alternative to plain ones :)
I'm not sure I understand how plain pecans can have a higher calorie count than chocolate-covered pecans, but now I'm going to put chocolate on everything in order to reduce my calorie intake
@@thrillhouse_vanhouten pecans are over 700kcal per 100g. Chocolate is around 500-550g per 100g. If you cover pecans in chocolate the final product will have less calories per 100g :)
It's even better with caramelized ones, as caramel is pure sugar, so it has less than 400kcal/100g.
So if you want to enjoy the least caloric nuts pick the ones that are carmelised! :)
👍👍😘
Was 1/8 cup of nutmeg a mistake?
Can the walnuts be left out for those of us with nut allergies?
Didnt know there was coconut in carrot cake. Can I substitute vanilla protein powder instead??
It's very nice and healthy dessert. Good for me because I don't eat sugar or milk . I look for this kind of vegan dessert, thanks for the recipe. 😊
Yes - can't wait to make this! Sara Lynn please make more healthy snack recipes - thank you!
How many calories for 12?
Hi instead of adding eggs, can I add yogurt. because I am vegetarian. I l love the recipe.
Recipe does "not" have eggs!
Yum! You look really pretty today.
The ingredients listed in the video says 1/8 CUP of nutmeg. Do you mean tsp?
Oh no! Thanks for catching that. Yes, 1/8 tsp 😊
"Hi Lovelies" - Look who's talkin' 👀😍💯
Hi I am watching your carrot cake. It looks so delicious. but I am vegetarian. So what’s the ingredient beside eggs.
There is no egg in this recipe
Yay someone else to loves corny jokes😆 I really liked yours and the recipe. you've got a new subscriber 😁
Has she made pumpkin pie version?
You look good with the long hair ❤
I would like to make these for my husband who is diabetic how many bites does this recipe make and what is the serving size
🌺👍🌺👍🌺👍

Anyway
Love there is no baking!!!
❤❤👈
What are Paconns?
Thank you so very much for sharing this! I adore carrot cake! I heard you say Easter in the beginning of the video! Did you know that our Savior calls it the Feast of First Fruits?! That's why Paul said that Christ is the first fruit from the dead. How cool?!! I learned that Easter is actually from a false god name. EEK! Praise YHVH God for opening our eyes to His truth ♡♡ Have a blessed day!!
1/8 cup nutmeg = 2 tablespoons
Seems too much . Taste not nice
Pecan nuts. NOT PAKAN!
