- Join me as I dive into the intense world of rugby and react to some of the hardest hits in the sport! As an American, I'm used to football and its rough tackles, but rugby takes it to another level. Watch along as I experience the raw power, skill, and sheer toughness of rugby players in these jaw-dropping moments.
Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more reaction videos!

Thanks for watching! 😀💗 - Jak na to + styl
I'm just now realizing the audio to the original video is a little low. I did use a different audio method this time so 🐻 with me as I figure out the right volume🙏🏽😊. I hope you all enjoyed this one!

I hope you saved my last link for a England v Scotland match, by your smile i knew you'd like rugby. This is the Scottish national anthem, in Scotland about to play the English...the words go back almost a thousand years.
You clearly have your hand full but if you want to be thrilled for just a little while, czcams.com/video/JPSGu9n4jtw/video.html
The more I watch your channel, the more I love your reactions. Another great upload, thanks for your content.
Thank you, that means so much to me 😊🙏🏽
Seriously??...ignorant comments like "it looked worse than what it was" when Pablo Matera was folded by Nepo Laulala doesn't make you roll your eyes.
I wonder if they would say the same if Nepo hit them like that.
@@brucefale6132 I watch this young lady's channel, as I find her honest and her reactions are nice to see. Again, this young lady doesn't know much about Rugby, either code. As far as I know, this is only the second Rugby video she's uploaded. She's trying to broaden her horizons, learn something new. I find it fascinating to watch peoples reactions, reactions to something new, to them. I didn't find anything that she stated as being "ignorant". I've played Union myself, quite a bit in fact. I have been clobbered on many occasions. But rather than judge someone by just one comment, I tend to just enjoy the whole video. Please don't judge someone on one throwaway comment.
@@janneroz-photographyonabudget I guarantee there will be plenty of "throw away" comments to come.
1. You can only tackle below the shoulder (no neck tackles)
2. No shoulder charges, must tackle with arms outstretched
3. If you're chasing a runner with the ball you can lunge and tap his ankle to trip him or her
4. You can pull shirt to make ball carrier fall, which is why now players wear tight fitting jerseys
5. You cannot , like American football , tackle anyone else except the ball carrier.
6. You cannot tackle and lift the ball carriers legs above his or her head and spear him or her to the ground.
The smallest guys are usually around 5'8", 5'9" or 5'10". Shorter players than that are rare - japans scrumhalf in the last world Cup was 5'6" , but he's special 🙂
In south africa we start playing rugby from the age of 6 & 7. We love it!
It seems very fun! 😁 and to be doing it at 6-7 that's very good for you!💪🏽
Football is a gentleman’s game played by hooligans and rugby is a hooligans game played by gentlemen 😅
I used to play the position of hooker in Rugby Union but I lost weight. You really need to be a unit with no neck to play that position and it started feeling like my neck was going to snap in the scrums lol.
It's all good fun when you're young and brimming with testosterone. I really enjoyed my time playing rugby. These professional players are on another level though.
This is a mix of Rugby League and Rugby Union footage
Where Tallis (in maroon) dragged Hodges (in blue) like a rag-doll over the side-line that is Rugby League. It was a match in what is called State of Origin where the best players from Queensland play the best players from New South Wales.
Hodges at that time played fullback for my team - the Parramatta Eels and he was selected to play in the state's team. Later he would transfer to the Wests Tigers where he won a premiership (think Super Bowl), despite his small frame. He was fast.
Glad you did this vid. The womens game is great too. So much so I've signed you up to play a game next Wednesday. Bring some ice packs & splints. LOL! Love your apprentice
😅 well I guess I'm on my way then!! ✈️😂
Rugby is brutal. There used to be a joke which was in football people get taken off on a stretcher if they get kicked in the leg in rugby people get taken off in a stretcher if they’re dead.
got to do ladies now lol
If you got up and hit somebody you’ll very likely be sent off. Then your team is then down to 14 players for the rest of the whole match. Brutal and instructional in how to restrain yourself. There is normally a bit of what we call “handbags “, that a scuffle. Perhaps you’ll get the opportunity to give it back later in the game 😉, but whatever happens, you’ll all end up buying each other beers at the bar after the game. Yes, check out women’s rugby.
"Why are they throwing him?" Because he was holding onto the ball with his legs after his side had given away a penalty, thus preventing the other side from starting a play quickly.
"There is no way I wouldn't get up and beat the crap out of that other dude" It's called self-preservation, the guys in green were the 2008 Springboks, full of players who absolutely loved violence.
Many of these clips are illegal and/or are shown out of context. What you don’t see here is that the refs would have been reaching for yellow or red cards. A fast paced, flowing game of rugby is a thing of beauty and exciting to watch, even if your knowledge of the game is basic. Rugby is not about savagery and/or trying to kill your opponents. There are many CZcams videos which highlight longer passages of play so you’ll get a feel for the skills and endurance needed in the game and if you’re confused by a particular term or section of play you’ll often find that the fans will discuss and/or debate these in the comments section.
Great comment. Very helpful, and valuable. 👏 Rugby "Hardest Hits"/"Biggest Hits" videos are badly made for precisely the reasons you give; no context, no explanation. They are misleading.
Best Wishes. ☮
They are all big. The ones that appear big, means they are reaaaally big
i used to play league, but ankles went, dont forget no padding, and these players are BIG,
Good on you for not pushing your baby away while you work. 😊 Rugby is an amazing game. Please check out the team, the "All Blacks". They are the National Rugby team for New Zealand and ranked among the best in the world. This video detracts from the beauty of the sport when it's played with passion, patriotism and skill🎉
It's like being charged by a rhino. Believe me, I know... I don't mean about the rhino, I don't know about that hahahaha
😂
well in League theres a team called Leeds Rhino's
Now we need someone to do a video of the biggest LEGAL hits. A lot of these would incur penalties, if not a sending-off. You are NOT, under any circumstances, allowed to make contact with a player's head, and that has tightened up in recent years. It was certainly a more brutal game in the past.
Check out South Africa vs France from the world cup just gone. Just one of the most incredible matches ever
Rugby: A game played by hard men with oddly-shaped balls.
Pleased to see you watched that video but if you want to see a brutal soccer match watch the Leeds United vs Chelsea 1970 FA Cup final replay, if it was played today each team would be lucky to have five players each left on the pitch.
No sign of a PO box yet? Got goodies lined up for you. 🇬🇧
Brooom Brooom.
The one looking like thor was chabal😂
loving your channel! please keep the good content coming! big love to all people :)
Thank you 😊💗
Handsome lad
Welcome to a brutal sport played by monsters.
Try and watch Rugby Hits till I collapse
You have to watch out there is 2 different games of rugby. There is Rugby League and Rugby Union. Some of these were Rugby League and imparticular NRL or Australian rugby league. When you say rugby, it's accepted the world over you are talking Rugby Union.
Ever thought of doing game of thrones reactions if you haven't seen it yet? Wish u all the best anyway! 👍
thats the joys of kids lol
Some off them bad fouls. A few sending offs.
It’s safer tackling wrapping around the legs, you’re taught proper tackling techniques from a young age - it’s not just dive and smash
We do it because we are not wimps. lol.
“Not sure I want to see this, I don’t like seeing people get hurt” this vidya is not for you pet!,
you are actually trained to absorb the hits, used to play myself i was a tank, wasnt fast but STRONG, i would drag 3 or 4 other players with me they would hit me hard. you learn to shrug it off, the only time was when i had my groin stomped on by "accident" and they wore studded boots. i still feel it to this day decades later
Ouch 🤕😳
@@Kayla.burlin theres quite a few full matches on youtube. a lot faster and harder than american football, then theres Aussie Rules Football its a different beast altogether
@@Greenwood4727I was kind of the other way around as a winger but stronger than people expected for a short arse and could drag at least a couple along with me well enough
you are so beautiful
Now google woman's rugby just as tough if not tougher.
Watch womens rugby. Go new zealand
