Hello Berk! Nice to meet you, here is Felipe from Brazil. I'm your fan a long ago in CZcams. I would love to work in a alias Nurbs modelling of your dream Porsche if you give me a chance. Nowadays I work in Polygonal and Class A/C in Ford North America team. It would be great be a part pf this.
Paint your dream Porsche red and it will become a Ferrari which is the whole problem with your " workflow" it combines already worn out paths and has no soul ! Which is a shame for an otherwise talented designer, why not try inventing something really new? Like what? you say? A good example is the headlight treatment of the Taycan which when it came out was not seen before!
you are right, but today if you are working in a creative field i think you have to integrated in the next upcoming years a kind of influence of AI. Cause if you not making a bit other designers would make it before you. And if a designer can explore more ideasthan you thanks that process its clear that one day your chief would replace you. You have to stay competitive with AI and evolve with it ! In some industries like videogames etc time is money. If some creative steps can be improved a lot in some scenarios they will use it.
Im not saying you have to let it make your work, but for pure creative steps its a huge step forward to going in different direction at the first stages. Cause some artists are good but could be much more creative thanks to these tools.
But and here im joining you to 1000% is the artist which is using that one day, has to keep in mind to rework and polish completly the AI "ideas" cause they are not precise for the moment and like here in the picked design, its a ferrari. Not a Porsche. Hope the rest of the car could help to make it better. Its really important to keep the hand on your final designs. Its not a shame if AI can help you to take a direction but then you have to step back think about if its good or not to go in that direction. Here with the "ferrari" design its for sure not the best one you picke i think.
