Art is in the eye of the beholder, precisely because its your understanding, experience, and ideas that shape what you take from the work. That doesn't mean it had a different meaning for the artists, only that your meaning will be different. Sometimes they align, but they do not have to nor is that necessary for enjoyment. More often than not, its intent is to trigger your own emotions, curiosity, and ideas so you can make the experience personal. If curiosity and specificity are your focus, then google symbolism eyes, or symbolism multiple eyes. I'm sure there's an interesting rabbit hole there, and what you learn won't change what made you interested originally, but it will certainly inform and affect how you view it going forward.

Yes, absolutely. Explaining my music taste is so difficult. I just add whatever I like to my music playlist and that’s why i don’t like to call myself a fan of certain bands. I just like to say “I like this song a lot”. Just because I like one or two Die Antwoord songs, doesn’t mean I’m their fan. Just because I like one or two BTS songs, doesn’t mean I’m an army.

I've been a fan of Chelou and their music for about two years, ever since I saw their video for "Halfway to nowhere". Now when I think about it, the theme in some of their songs is about heading forward but not knowing where exactly, but just keep on doing what you love, and you'll be okay. In this case, it's creating music. In my case, it's filling my sketchbook pages with doodles. Whatever keeps us going is worth to hold onto. Also, the music video will be of huge inspiration to me, so thank you for creating this ❤

It’s the animation for me. Always gets me.
"Neo-Psychedelia" is borderline "Dream-pop" music; although, this not the first time I've discovered this correlation. I'm a Goth, but someone recommended Chelou's "Out of Sight" album and I'm not regretting it for one second. Finding new music is always a challenging effort, but this is excellent. Its been on repeat for hours.
When reading other posts, some people don't like the visual's; but, I find them completely fascinating and they make complete sense to me. I think like this already.

Me and my girl first heard the song halfway to nowhere in December 2021 when me and my girl were pretty messed up drinking, between the 8th and the 15th, a week or two before my aunt passed, before our relationship went through a lot of hectic times, but we made it through together. Sometime after December 2021 we heard this and it just hit different as well. I can say that this music has been a big part of our good and bad times during our relationship so to say the least, I’ll always be fond of it.
