- Laser level review and comparison before buying the lasers.
Here I'm comparing the new Milwaukee 360 3 plane laser level to dewalt, Bosch, prexiso, and hilti.
Is the Milwaukee laser level worth the money?

#laserlevel - Jak na to + styl
I was just looking for a comparison video and here it is, thanks
Hey Allan. I hope this helped. I’m waiting on the Milwaukee 360 to be released in aus so I can grab it. Have to call everyday as no one knows😂 let me know if there was any info you wanted or anything you wanted to see/compare. 👍🍻
You should have a look at redback lasers , the only thing that stopped me from getting one was I couldn't find a local store that sold them
That 120 meter range that the Bosch advertised is the diameter, not the radius (says so on the product page). That means that if you put the laser in the middle of a room, it’ll have a 60 meter range in both directions. So really, the range is 60 if you’re comparing it to all the other lasers, not 120.
Hi bloke, looking at getting a laser at the moment. Would probably get a laser detector for levels. Like you also want the 3 plane 360, with fine adjustment. Makita also seem to have one now. Cheers. Ryan.
defs need more views and likes for all the effort you put in ❤
Thanks mate I appreciate it
They are the same prices or just a bit cheaper in Australia compared to north America, if you consider the exchange rate. $789 aud, is $539 usd. We pay $599 usd for the basic kit here.
Definitely on the expensive side but I've had mine for a month and absolutely love it. I have the 3 360 plane one with all the magnetic mounts and it my favorite laser I've used in 10 years of construction
Thanks for the feedback mate. It’s great to hear that it’s a good laser. Are there any main points that stand out to you for the Milwaukee?
@@AddictedtoTools it's very rugged compared to my old Dewalt. The optional clip is very handy and the magnets are incredibly strong. Also I have a lot of m12 tools so I have plenty of batteries for it
Cheers for the info. I’m keen to get one to compare👍
Very informative video greatly appreciated.
You’re welcome. Thanks for the feedback. Have you got a laser at the moment that you’re using?
@@AddictedtoTools currently have a renegade Cross Line Laser Level and looking to upgrade the fine adjustment feature sounds like it would be useful.
Those renegades are too bad for the price. A lot of guys I know get them. Seems to get the job done.
Great comparison, just wondering if you’ve tested the Leica Lino L2G or L6G, or the PLS. I’ve been researching the Leicas and they look tempting but can’t find any back to back comparisons showing them up against their main rival, the Bosch.
…… and not to forget the Makita.
Would think the dewault weight would be overall including case and accessories.
Great video Matt
Thanks lukas.I feel you’re right. It’s strange that they don’t give the weight of the laser.
The hilti has a micro adjustment. Also the $1092 price they advertise for a full kit does not include GST! Which is a further $110 bringing the kit to over $1200.
Oh true, thanks for the clarification. That starts to get pricey. Do you rate the laser though?
Which One Is The Best?
What about the Huepar model? You have many but this model and no one is comparing this model with the top notch models.
I have a hilti. It’s a great laser. Micro adjustment can be abit jumpy though. And the mounts can be removed while the laser is mounted. Other then those issues, I recommend hilti.
I wouldn’t waste my money on Milwaukee for a laser.
Thanks for the insight mate. For the price, I would think the hilti would be the best option. 👍
Fuck Hilti. Overpriced shit without GST included.
I have 2 the 12v DeWalt and the Hilti 12v and the Hilti is much better you can feel the difference in price . I would say if your going to spend money on one I would just spend the extra money. It’s not worth going cheap on .
Totally agree. I’ve used a lot of the hilti lasers over the years and they’ve been great. Worth that extra money.
I have owned the Dewalt 12v for awhile now. What the hell is the target for?! 🤣
Late reply, but if you haven't found out it is used for a reference point for grid ceiling installs 👍
@@TheRiverStyx ah okay. Something I probably will never do. Makes sense why I didn’t know what it is.
789 AUD is a deal compared to the 1159NZD they are advertising it for just over the ditch
I’ve heard that you guys get hit even harder than us. That’s a crazy price. I might have to bring that up as well. What’s the cost of the dewalt 12v 360 laser over there?
@@AddictedtoTools the new dewalt 12V is $957. The older dewalt is $910. The Bosch comes in at $870.
Didn't realize how much we got hit until I saw this video. One of my work makes had been waiting ages for the milwaukee laser to come out here but when he saw the price you can't really justify it.
Bosch is overall winner. most accurate and brightest among them. also it has motorised mount accessory with Bluetooth connection can control with a phone and remote as well. for the runtime 18v Dewalt is the best. Hilti and Milwaukee is definitely overpriced.
No point in having a warranty if you are going to struggle for weeks to get hold of someone or have to wait for them to sort it out.
Hilti has the best warranty in the business. 2 years + parts guaranteed to be available for 20 years. Heck, if you are a large enough company, you should be doing the Hilti Fleet program anyway. No point I'm buying depreciating assets for business.
The other point to mention is that vital is calibration. Forget about sending your laser for calibration if you bought from a big box store. Hilti has stores all over the world where you can drop off, they have reps that will come around and they also have customer service which will arrange for it to be picked up. All of these factors and not the spec sheet are arguably much more important when buying.
Buy once, cry once!
what about heupar laser
I didn’t have it back then. I have one now and I’m looking at doing a review/comparison soon
@@AddictedtoTools that was the heupar one
That hilti is a piece of garbage. Trust me. Had a plum wall. A guy came over , had the hilti set up for long lights. It happened to be close to my corner bead. It made the wall look like it was 3/4 inch out of plum. It was plum. But the laser was way off. And that laser was brand new
Yeah, Hilti sucks balls. I fuckin hate it when they quote a price it's without GST. Cocksuckers.
You're that guy huh
those r good prices, come have a look at what we pay here in sheepshaggystan.
