I would probably geek out if I met Koa too. I have been subscribed for years also. Love Koa, Eli, Jack, Nathan, John, Pyzel and all the other characters from the North Shore. These guys are really "livin" the dream.

Personally I like incorporating the lifestyle content of living in Hawaii blended in with the surfing. Grabbing coffee at the shack, workouts, drinking w the boys. Vlog style. I think a lot of people enjoy the day in the life stuff, as well as surf clips of course. Cheers

Do a complete quiver beak down from models to dims. Layout all your boards and explain exactly what you ride and when.
Koa, I see videos of the reef at Pipe and it always amazes me why more folks aren't hurt as it looks to be no more than 3 ft. deep. So, if you could let us novice folks know how in heavens name do you survive when your falling on those particularly big days. Do the larger waves pull more water off the reef when its firing compared to the smaller days. And when we see 2nd and 3rd reef firing, how deep is it in those areas? You asked us to give suggestions as to what to do about subject matter, well here ya go. I love your videos. I lived in Honolulu in 1967/68 went to Washington Intermediate and spent the rest of my time at Kaisers and that area. Never had the nerve to surf Pipe but I love watching you and the crew. Thanks, keep up the fine work

Koa you make some of the best content on youtube period! I never was into surfing, Id watched a couple surf comps on television back in the day when I was a kid but never followed the sport. A couple years ago, I got on this shark kick watching videos about them which caused one of your videos to pop up in my recommended, I guess because its ocean based content. I've kept up with you, nate and the sport in general ever since. I've got major anxiety issues but whenever I'm having a tough day, I'll come watch this is livin or nates slab tour and its such a great comfort watch so I know I cant be the only one! Its more than just the content, you are such chill guys with personalities that are just easy to like! What you're doing not just for the sport but just for people like me with this channel can't be understated...you should be proud, you're doing so much more than just making money sharing your adventures with us...I just hope you know that and just thank you for that!

Koa, careful with the overhead workouts. They aren’t worth the risk, especially if they go behind your head. They used to flair up my neck issues so bad.

Here in Central America the sun es bien bravo. I've seen visiting surfers,and non surfers ruin their two week vacation by getting a bad sunburn the first day out, a gringo tan we call it. Do some surfing at V-land, Haleiwa,or my favorite Laniakea for your vlogs .Pura Vida desde Costa Rica

First of all. Really enjoy your clips brother. I'm a Marine & I worked out a lot when I was your age and fully extending your arms doing full squats puts a tremendous amount of pressure on your back. Light weight is probably ok maybe with dumbbells. Beings you've had surgery. Just be careful & keep killin bro. Love your vids at Cloudbreak. That wave is supernatural. And on the 7th day, God didn't sleep. He brought Fiji out from the depths & shaped that reef that produces the best surf on earth!!! Deuces.

Hi Koa, I know you once did a video on the different spot on northshore, but have you done a video already explaining how the surf conditions evolve throughout the year, like month by month or can even be less granular. Just an idea. I’m coming over in February, so as usual I go on an do my research on conditions, average size, what crowd to expect, even water temperature. I’d rather watch one of your videos instead ;)
