Bruny Island is actually a little pair of islands, at the southern tip of Tasmania. We undertook a 'cruise' there in the hope of spotting whales, but no such luck - though we saw seals and cormorants. The weather, however, turned stormy, the sea was extremely rough, and the little boats were battered in the high wind and waves. At the end, nausea and seasickness got the better of almost all the passengers, and we were glad to be off the boat, even though the trip was cut short by an hour.
