Do you love to find great items at thrift stores? Me, too! I found some beautiful glassware and painted them with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Pure White, sanded them and then bought artificial flowers from Walmart and the Dollar Tree. I needed some quick and easy gifts to make for a few of my real estate clients and I was so pleased with the outcome!
I got all my supplies at the Goodwill, Walmart and the Dollar Tree, so for under $20, I was able to make 3 personalized gifts!
I hope that this video encourages you to be creative, too! Who doesn’t want to get a sweet little arrangement of pretty flowers, and they last forever! Haha
I also personalized tea towels with permanent fabric markers and they make a perfect gift, too!

Great video. I'd like to paint and decoupage on glass Mason jars. I recently tried the decoart americana chalk paint and. It literally peels off with the slightest scratch. Does the Anne sloan chalk paint hold up better on glass and is it more scratch resistant? Also is the Annie sloan chalk paint safe to use indoors?
Hi Davey! All chalk paint will scratch off unless you put a clear coat on it. I would recommend you use a matte clear spray. Annie Sloan is comparable to other chalk paints, in my opinion. Annie Sloan chalk paint is great for indoors!
why not wax it afterwards? Is there a practical reason? I have a sidetable top center that's glass and want to paint that to match the wood. Because it's a table top can I spray varnish the glass after the chalk paint to make it more resilient to wear? (setting down glasses etc)

No, just the outside. It will wash off of you do.
