*My friend helped me to assemble it, **MyseIf.Furniture** very easy to assemble. Very light but very stable，won't take up much space in your bedroom. The wooden waterproof countertop on the top is easy to clean.I used it to store children's clothes，easy-to-pull drawer handle makes it easy to take things. My daughter uses the chest of drawers as a table and often plays with toys on it. Very satisfied with the product purchased this time*
Just a suggestion: When cleaning metal ( drawer pulls, knobs etc.)with years of dirt and grime on them I soak overnight in a solution of Alka-Seltzer tablets with enough water to cover items completely. Note: Make sure to dissolve tablets completely. I used this for chrome handles on kitchen cabinets that were about 70 yrs old. Works great with little effort.

Next time, soak the hardware in vinegar & water for a bit. Then scrub some Comet on it with a good stiff tooth brush & it will clean your hardware like nobody's business! I love refinishing old furniture & that little trick hasn't let me down yet. Beautiful piece & the color is perfect

I am back to Annie Sloan paint, because it covers much better, saves time and money when you are doing lots of projects each week.
So vinegar with water while cleaning? Do I have to sand furniture to paint it?

Beautiful! Love the art deco lines on the drawer fronts. And while I love distressing and dark waxing, the simplicity of the grey and gold with clear wax works amazingly with your choice of Chicago Grey.

I use vinegar to clean my pieces. Just put some with water. It cleans well.

It’s beautiful!! I’ve used chalk paint a couple times for a chest & hutch. I’m about to do a dresser, I was unsure how the paint would wear with a dresser but like you said it adds so much character I’m probably going to stick with it. Thanks for the video!

I hope this is helpful. To get a all natural cleaner use vinegar. You can put it in a spray bottle and add a bit of water. It was something my grandmother passed on to me. It was their windex. Hope this helps

TSP is environmentally friendly - you can find it at any hardware store, Home Depot, Lowes, even some super markets carry it. - Great to get all kinds of residue off most surfaces including wood.
Simple green works well before chalk painting :)

Tell you what young lady...if you would like the cedar chest...it was my grammas and actually have no family left to pass on too...would be honored if you would like it. Held my grammas quilts and the Hershey Chocolate bars she hid from us all. LOL. To this day..a hershey bar with no cedar smell just isnt right. LOL
I know you might think this is weird, but when you have no family and tons of antiques you do not need and afraid to mess with cause drop shit all the time. Time to pass them on to the next generation! 🤘🏻👍🏻❤️😁
This piece is from the 1940’s I believe. My grandmother had a bedroom suite very similar. I really love what you did with it!
Wow, I didn’t realize it could date back that far! Although I did know it was quite old. It was a part of an estate sale for someone elderly who had passed. There were many pieces like this but this was the last one. Thank you for the compliment! We love this piece.

Just the inspiration I needed to refinish 2 pieces for our bedroom. Thank you! I think your dresser could be from the 1940's, it gives off that 'art deco' feel. The size is interesting.
