Against Storm X, you only blocked one hit and lost Ferocity. It was hard to tell, but I think you threw SP2 before activating it. If you activate SP2 after you enter Ferocity, it's duration is increased and you should be able to block 2 times before losing it. I can understand why some people don't enjoy her, but I really like using her and hope to pull the 6* from the upcoming featured.

Love the video, V! I R5’d my 6* LD at max sig and also R2’d my 7* LD unawakened. The sig ability does make a difference for me. Ramps up faster, as you mentioned. Some may question why I ranked up both, but I just really dig her aggressive play-style.
Thank you for this comment and confirming what I was pretty sure I was experiencing. Also, I know a lot of very smart players that seem to love her so I’m hoping once I awaken mine I’ll be with you all in enjoying her more.
Feels like right now, she is a great mutant counter, but later when awakened she will be able to do a lot more. My BGs experience last season looked exactly like yours.. additionally I can confirm that high sig Dominos can still wreck ya 😂 Thanks Vega!
I’ve had my own unawakened R2 Lady D for a while now, and while I agree with a lot of what was said in this video, I’d want to add how useful the utility of her nanobot regenerator can be for tricky specials.
In using her in BGs I’ve found it useful against a number of champs including for example an unawakened Korg for if I mess up the SP1 dex. It’s a really nice safety net imo, similarly to Adam Warlock’s stasis pod.
Thats a really nice piece of utility to have, plus you get the utility of her damage coming from DOT ruptures which means that she bypasses most damage caps/doesn’t trigger effects that require doing large amounts of damage in a single hit, similarly to QS.
Imo she’s not the most OP champion, but she has enough unique utility packaged together that I think her value will only continue to rise as people get her and try her in more diverse scenarios. Awakening her would be really nice though 😂.

My only luck with too many paragon has been 6 star LDS.
She’s been growing on me. It’s an interesting space in the evolution of MCOC.
I’d have R2ed LDS if have the opportunity. But the awakening gem situation has changed. And sig stones.
I can basically awaken anyone I want now. And no can’t instant sig 200. But much easier now.
Also with AQ store and BG, easier than ever for t3, t6. R4 don’t hurt as much. Now r5 is a big thing.
Eventually awaken gems and sig will come in, sooner than later. But those will be precious. It can be months and months before naturally dupe a 7. Year or more easy. Sadly.
Why Lags truly wanted 6 star kindred over 7. Bittersteel really helped me understand her. And can freely block up to frenzy.
Her healblock is fantastic. And almost zero rupture immune which is awesome.
No need to compare your Lady D to others. Mine is only 6*r3 and still fun to play w...*clears throat* Lady Deathstrike is a good champ :)
Outside of this video, I call her Lady DS. Was pretty surprised when Kabam called her Lady D. Decided to have some fun with it 😂
One thing to note: you need to activate sp2 AFTER reaching 75 charges and getting into ferocity. The wording states that her regular ferocity get REPLACED by a longer duration one.
What I noticed many times during this gameplay is that Vega threw it before getting to the initial ferocity, which meant that it didn't get replaced so he loses ferocity after taking a single blocked hit, which makes going for the sp2 kinda pointless here...

I don't know why kabam constantly wants to come out with new 7* champs that rely on Awakened ability I don't think we've had 1 yet that is fine unawakened I really hope we get some soon that wont need the awakened ability

Jokes aside, I will say the heal block preventing unstoppable/unblockable does seem like an ability that's going to be unexpectedly useful. If I'm understanding this right, it means she's going to bypass any slow, nullify, stagger, neutralize, etc immunities that a mutant champ could have and be able to shut down their unstoppable where maybe the champ's design doesn't intend for that to be possible.
Imo it sets a really interesting precedent for the future that non-traditional utility elements can be bound to what is coded as a traditional utility element.

@@Vega583 Yeah man. We always used to talk about abilities and champions that were created to solve problems that didn't exist yet way back when in the rankings chat; I think LDS is a prime example of Kabam doing exactly that.

I think they already had so many crit fail counters for Domino now that they didnt want another full Domino immune
Yeah could be accurate. I believe also with the awakening and quicker ramp you do get the armors to alleviate this issue
Hmmm cant block. does she phase? No. Alternative openings? No. Block break mech? No. Hmmm not a high priority rankup. But seems to have uses. Mostly against BG defenders, your havoks dominos and sorts.
Then heal block being a debuff and not passive or not turning into passive when shrugged is a bit iffy
She can't please but has god forbidden regen which totally makes up for it

Absolutely, definitely should’ve awakened my 7 star instead of pointing to videos from great channels everyone can learn from about awakened Lady DS and more.
Lol all I meant was I thought you'd clip some vids from people who had her awakened so we'd get a side by side comparison. It's a lot easier to compare the difference when they're in the same place. You kept on talking about a difference but didnt show it was just weird to me. And if you did point out other people who had duped vids fine but I must've missed that. But that's on me cant catch everything. And obviously I wasnt implying go awaken your 7* that's just ridiculous.
