  • In this monsoon-prone area along Cambodia's Tonle Sap river, people have learned to elevate their homes up to 20 meters above the ground! We were here during the dry season, and we were able to see the clever construction of these homes: perfectly positioned for easy access to the river, ideal for people who rely on fishing as their main source of income. A fascinating experience less than an hour from Siem Reap and Angkor Wat.
