You did a wonderful job on my favourite battleships of the Littorio Class also called the Vittorio Veneto Class. Those were good battleships but was handicapped by not having the 406 cannons and suffering from chronic shortage of bunker oil relegating almost the whole fleet at the harbours from 1942 until the armistice 20th September 1943. My late father saw the Littorio at the harbour of La Spezia when he was 15 years old and was shocked how big and beautiful it was! Great job indeed 👏 👍 👍
I thought Roma was the most beautiful Battleship.I have her in 1/350 scale and it saddens me how she died.
@@model-man7802 yes, it always sad when a great battleship breaks up this way but perhaps it was worse for the Hood that sunk with 1418 sailors of which only 3 survived. The Roma broke up taking along 1393 sailors and 628 survived, terrible...

I am in awe after watching any of your videos. I know how tricky it is to build 1/350 scale WWI ships. You make 1/700 scale look easy. I'd love you just to make a video one day to go through ALL your models and stash. Keep up the great work. Can't wait for the next build

リットリオ級戦艦は構造物の配置がバランス良くて見た目が良いですよねー笑ちなみにwowsbBlitzやってますがローマはティア8戦艦の中では最も優秀な戦艦ですよ！
Fantastic reproduction of the Littorio, amazing work! Pity for the mistake with the flag, in those years Italy had the Sabaudian Royal mark on the middle white part. The Roma will be the next? Greetings from Italy!

同じキット２カ月前に完成させたんだけど、艦底との段差埋めるのがほんときつかった
ピットロードは隙間やバリが多くて作りづらいんだよねぇ。で、Ameさんは1/350は作らないんですか？

リットリオ(Littorio)とはローマ時代首脳をはじめとした要人を警護していたSP。
その武器ファスケスはファシスト党のマークにも描かれイタリア空軍のラウンデルにも採用されていた。
ヴィットリオ・ヴェネト級の3，4番艦が「インペロ」「ローマ」と言う命名をされたのもローマ帝国の栄光を再びという決意が込められていたんですかね。

One other thing, do you prefer enamel over acrylic when painting ships? I’ve seen tank modelers use acrylic more often than not and wonder if the same is for shipbuilding.

艦底は、緑ですよ。
結構、赤色じゃんい艦ってありますよ。
それとヨーロッパの戦艦って、艦上建造物とかに何で赤とか使うのかなぁって思うこと多いんですよね。
ドイツなんてカギ十字艦首と艦尾にでかでかと書き込んであるし、巡洋艦の主砲の上、赤く塗っていたり……。
もっとも、ドイツは第一次世界大戦のころから、煙突の一部を赤くしたりとかやってましたからねぇ……。
以外と目立ちたがり?!
まぁ、識別の為だとわかってはいるんですが、それでも……赤と白のストライプはねぇと思う……。
でも東洋の国でも、甲板に真っ赤な丸を書き込んで戦争していた空母があったりしたんで、笑えない……ww

実際に日の丸めがけて爆弾を投下して見事ぶち当てたドーントレスパイロットもいたらしい(笑)

日露戦争の時のロシアの軍艦なんて黒の船体に黄色の煙突という最も目立つコントラストだったから、日本海海戦の時、日本の連合艦隊のいい標的になったようです。

Yep same thing with the Hakenkreuz on Kriegsmarine ships and the Hinomarus on the japanese aircraft carriers (Only the Axis powers are foolish enough to do this lol)
The reason they did this was to prevent friendly bombers from attacking them... www.historynet.com/battle-of-cape-matapan-world-war-ii-italian-naval-massacre.htm " The Regia Aeronautica (Italian Royal Air Force) repeatedly made its appearance at the end of a battle. Perhaps even more frustrating, the Italian airmen frequently bombed their own ships as well as British vessels."
