Assalamualaikum to the team. I'm from Malaysia but i reckon that I always turn to the western teachers for islamic knowledge nowadays. I asked myself why I do so because we have many aalim in our country. Now I realized that in the western side we have aalims that conveys easy and thorough information for us, good production quality, focus on building the iman rather than disputing on the differences (living in majority Muslim country is different than a country that islam is not the majority). This is just my opinion, Allah knows best. I wish all muslims can understand English to get benefit from Al Maghrib institute and all the institutes that benefit the ummah. I received a lot from you and more surprisingly i have improved my English for my studies in the university. JAZAKUMULLAHU KHAIRAN KATHIRA to Sh Muhammad rahimahullah and all.

I didn’t understand how much of an impact Shaykh Mohmmad (may Allah be pleased with him and grant him jannah fardous) had on the teachings of Islam, until I listened to this video. The idea that he broke the traditional way of teaching is huge…I can only imagine how difficult and challenging it would have been for me and others if only the traditional way of teaching was adopted. I remember listening to shaykh yasir at VRIC saying that all modern educational institutions in America now adopt a similar approach to Almagrib institute. InshaAllah with this understanding I will always keep him in my dua. Thank you Shaykh Yasir for your honesty and sharing this story…your openness and honesty and beautiful. May Allah bless you and protect you in this dunya and in the hereafter.

@@universeandbeyond3576 yes exactly. Also, india is NOT a muslim country. Many, not all, Indian Muslims CHOSE to live as a minority under 82% Hindus in a ‘secular’ country called india in 1947. But over half of south Asian Muslims chose to support and live in east and west Pakistan - a Muslim majority Islamic country. Just saying because I have met Indian Muslims today who still bash Pakistan, Bangladesh, Arab countries and yet don’t even Know their own history that india is not a muslim country and that they are a minority livung in an idol-worshipping majority country. Anyway….

But just be careful of Muslim country bashing Muslims in india who ‘love’ india the way it is now - I,e they are happy being part of secular India as a minority and don’t want to see Islamic countries like Pakistan or Afghanistan be successful; just be careful of ‘Hindu-marrying’ Indian Muslims who feel they are justified to so what they do. They do da'awah, why don't you do your part and respect their work? Don't you think judging their niyyah negatively without full comprehension of who they really are is wrong on your part? Also it's a tribute clip of Al Marhum Sheikh Muhammad Al Sahreef and not the right time for voicing your displeasures at other people's character, more so an educated preacher like Sheikh Choudhary?
