- A complicated forging. This technique of a one piece forging comes from Angelo Bartolucci, an Italian Master Smith whose work is incredible. This is merely my attempt. Starting stock: 6"x 3/4" square.
Thanks again for watching. You're Awesome. If you want to help the channel for future videos, my links are below:

A lot of times, us beginner smiths like to think: “Well *i* could do that if *i* had all those fancy tools.”
But not this. This is incredible patience, care, skill, and precision that no fancy tool can substitute for!
Вот так, мастер вдыхает ДУШУ в кусок железки! БРАВО Мастер!!!
That is impressive !
Just kept saying "no way" the whole time.
My daughter likes to watch blacksmithing with me, she says "He is good enough, he should forge a signature." :)
Гарно, дуже гарно
I've watched a number or your videos and I must say you have what has to be the cleanest blacksmith/metalworking shop I've ever seen.
I'm JUST trying to learn how to forge knives! I think CZcams jumped the gun on this recommendation!😂 Perhaps one day I'll have these skills. Or at least one of those many tools? Dang...that's a fine shop!
Hey good day, very nice technique. Angelo Bertolucci would be very proud. Have had some success by hand, you did an excellent job. And very nice inspiration. Thank you for sharing that with us all. Keep up the great work, stay well and have a beautiful day. Jim
Man you are insane, one of the cleanest work I've ever seen ,you are up there with Torbjorn Ahman, simply one of the best, thank you man, thank you
Really supper I love this work
His master works are excellent, and his workshop is beautiful, impeccable..
What a beautiful, peaceful experience. Thank you!
That is definitely some superior work. Impressive planning to get that much out of one bar.
What can we say...beautiful creation ❤️❤️❤️
That's great. Lots of learning in there for us. Thanks for sharing, John. And thanks for introducing me to Angelo Bartolucci.
Sir you are a true craftsman
Wow! That's the only word I can think of, just WOW!
Beautiful! Now, to figure out how to do that in my coal forge without an oxy torch!
Till you have power hammer and punches it's easy but precise work, with only hammer is not so easy. Use a smoothed plier and heat it all, also having a really small hammer for the bends and precise hits.
👍 супер, спасибо за видео
That's insanely impressive!
Nicely done Sir, thank You for the tutorial.
For those that have not even tried a simple leaf, harder than it looks.
Well I just learned a heck of a lot. This may be a wishlist item to try one day. Your works and shop look awesome.
What a beautiful place to work and the work you do is first class I’d love to see you make a claw hammer if possible
Sounds good! I'll put it on the list.
Great work. Very clean and organized shop.
Whenever your time comes as it does for all of us, the world would have lost an irreplaceable talent, understanding this world will never be possible, some people have great wealth, great health, but great skill will never be understood or accepted the way it should, the future will be replace with computerized blacksmithing, and generations will never appreciate the capability of people, it would have seemed to be easy all along, they will not acknowledge the world existed before their arrival, sir you are truly talented, keep being great !...
Too kind, thank you.
Great work. Loving the coffee spoon!
Awesome Craft worth for the time you've spent
Wow ... sooo beautiful👏👏👏

Angelo Bartolucci is an incredible smith, this is just my crude attempt. I wish more of his works were available.
Fantastic, Rigoni! Thanks for sharing!
Вы самый аккуратный и техничный кузнец которого мне приходилось встречать.

thank you :)
I'm one of Angelo's grandchildren.
This is something that i really didn't want to tell, but he died today. A couple of hours ago.
It's almost 15 years (probably more) he didn't work with iron anymore (due to age) and during all these years, out of curiosity, i've always tried to google it's name.
Idk, I was curious to see "how famous" was my grandfather, i've always been super proud of his work (even if i never had the chance to learn anything from him, and i'm not an expert) and I was always full of joy everytime i saw someone defining his work "incredible", just like you did.
You have no idea how my heart broke when i saw this video. Published no more than 1 year ago.
It's a crazy coincidence but I really have to thank you for this "tribute", you really have no idea what does this mean to me.
He would have been probably happy too, even if i'm almost sure he would have make fun of you (in a kind way) for using a mechanical hammer in the first part of the video ahah.
But you know, it's a man from another century, we can forgive him.
Thanks again.
Really.
Man... Sad times. I wish more of his work was available for people to see. Roberto Giordani had slides of his other works, hopefully it will transfer to print. One of a kind Master Smith.
@@rigoniironworks I wish it too! I have no idea what will happen about that, i have to speak with my family but I'd really want to share his work more. Definitely one of a kind, as you said.
Very nice work. Nice shop! A gas saver for your torch would save you a lot of time and money.
ha, ones been sitting in my shop, need to fab a stand for it.
Someone call the Men In Black, this dudes from an entire other universe.
The Blacksmith Who Fell To Earth....just freaken awsome.
Make a rolling stand with a swivel mast and arm to hold the torch. You can leave torch on the arm lit or remove it. Also place a gas saver valve on it. Small plate with holes to hold various torches, rosebud, etc. Also hang striker and tip cleaners. Damn useful. I used a railroad shuttle car wheel for a base with small steel wheels and handle so I can move it around like a handtruck. Instead of mobile rig with bottles the bottles remain secured to wall and rig is mobile to length of hose.
Этот Чувак реально крут!!!!
Fantastic! Is this really your first attempt? Lighting the torch from a candle in a wax encrusted chianti bottle was just too much, I almost fell over laughing. So now you need to make wine glasses and display them, the flower and the chianti candle on a red and white checkered table cloth thrown over your swage plate. Buon appetito!
By the way, when are you going to continue your experiments in timber chisel/slick production? Definitely in the market...
🤗🤗🤗
👏👏👏👏👏
Hell yeah

Wow

during the process it reminded me on NATO razor wire
