- Flashing back to my very first YT video from 3 years ago!! Yeah, this was the first project I every did on my channel! It's been almost 3 years! Can hardly believe it! Anyway, I do want to mention that the quality is not great in places, but I did the best that I could to re-edit it! I thought that the 1313 Mockingbird Lane Playlist Crawl would be a perfect place to re-introduce this adorable project! I have, since my original filming of this project, seen very many similar projects, but I still felt that mine deserved another go!

I'm midway through this project. I couldn't decide which project to begin with, so figured after this one, I'll try to move through a few more, putting my own spin on some. I just love the vintage feel of your pieces! I only wish I had the hand control you have when painting, but one must work with what one's been given, so I just go with it. Thanks for the tutorials!

This came out just in time! I was about to toss out one of those Laughing Cow containers I had in the fridge with one last piece of cheese. 😅 I'm gonna have to give this project a shot tomorrow.

Ah is that what's meant by 'cheese box' - I couldn't figure that out. Haven't seen one of those in ages, but maybe there's something similar that would work?
You could try a papier-mâché round box! I’m sure that would work!

These are so cute ! I love the vintage style of the way you paint and I watch all of your videos ! I was wondering if you could show some painting ideas for all the little wooden cut outs that you can buy ....I have pumpkins, bats, ghosts, and cats.They sell them at joanns and at the dollar tree. What products do you use for shading? I’ve never seen this done before!
Hiya, LH! I use Folk Art Floating Medium to shade. It’s a clear gel
Where does one find a cheese container?
Hiya, Christine! Mine is a Laughing Cow cheese box. Dairy aisle of your supermarket, will have them. My husband like to snack on cheese & crackers, so I save the boxes. You could use a paper mache box, too. I’m sure that would work just as well.
